“Remember that time Key tried to set me up on a blind date?” Minho asked, and Taemin nodded tersely.

“Yeah,” Taemin said, his lips tight. “I still don’t understand why he did that.”

“You know how he didn’t approve of us at first,” Minho laughed. “It was just Key-hyung.”

“Imagine how I would have felt if you had gone.”

“Oh, Taeminnie, I would never have gone. Do you know how much I liked you, even back then? A whole lot, because you were just the most perfect, angelic being I’d ever seen.”

“Then why’d you bring up the date?” Taemin asked scathingly.

“Because I saw that girl yesterday. She works at the convenience store near here.”

“What?” Taemin cried. “Did you talk to her?”

“I said hi, but I don’t think she recognized me.” Taemin grinned.

“Good, my mind control worked!” he cackled, and Minho couldn’t help but laugh as well.

“I didn’t know you could control minds,” he laughed. “Are you controlling mine right now?”

“Of course not; you love me all on your own.”
