“Hyung, this is Kai,” Taemin said, introducing his friend to Minho. “Kai, this is my boyfriend, Choi Minho.”
“Nice to meet you,” Kai smiled. “Taemin-hyung talks about you all the time.”
“He talks about you too,” Minho said politely. But Minho was not about to be friends with Kai. He felt a little threatened. Kai was handsome, tall, deep-voiced…just Taemin’s type.
“I’m so glad you two can finally meet!” Taemin cried. “Kai was my best friend from elementary school all the way to high school, hyung.”
“Yup!” Kai affirmed. “I’ve known him for a really long time now. I could tell so many funny stories about you, Taemin-hyung.”
“No! Kai. Don’t,” Taemin said warningly, glancing up at Minho. Minho just forced a smile. If this guy was trying to take Taemin away…even the way Kai kept looking at his watch made Minho annoyed.
“Anyway, hyung” Taemin continued, “Kai is coming to our school next year. Isn’t that great?”
“Sure it is,” Minho said, clenching his teeth. He glared at Kai as Kai checked his watch yet again. Just what was he so impatient for?
“I’m excited,” Taemin smiled, and suddenly Kai’s eyes lit up.
“Hey—” Minho began threateningly, but he was stopped by Kai.
“He’s here! Finally,” Kai grinned. He ran over to meet a boy Minho vaguely recognized from his calculus class. “Guys,” Kai said, returning with the boy, “this is my boyfriend, Do Kyungsoo. Kyungsoo-hyung, this is Taemin-hyung and Minho-hyung.”
“Hi,” Kyungsoo smiled, holding Kai’s hand. Minho sighed a breath of relief. He took Taemin’s hand, and Taemin smiled up at him. Minho needn’t have worried.
A/N: And that, my friends, is the pairing that I am currently obsessed with. KAISOO 5EVA OKAY. They just give me so many feels omg. And I'm really pumped for Happy Camp. *continues rambling about stuff that probably doesn't matter to her readers* Maybe I should save this for Simple's author's note. Ah well.
