“Hyung, you know how I’m superstitious?” Taemin asked.

                “No, I actually didn’t know that,” Minho replied. “Do you like…run if a black cat is crossing your path? Or purposefully avoid walking under a ladder? Or make sure never to break mirrors?”

                “No, not superstitious like that,” Taemin shook his head. “I used to keep a journal.”

                “Like a diary?” Minho asked, and Taemin gave him a dark look.

                “A journal. Diaries are for girls,” Taemin said. Minho laughed.

                “Okay then, a journal. How is that superstition?”

                “It’s not, except I used to keep a journal and write down who I liked in it. I’d be like ‘oh, Joonmyeon-hyung is so attractive. I want to go out with him,’ or whatever.”

                “Wait, you liked Joonmyeon-hyung?” Minho cried.

                “When I was like twelve, calm down,” Taemin said cutely. “Anyway, whenever I used to write in my journal about a boy, nothing would happen with him. Or even worse, something would happen, but it would be bad, like I’d ask about his sister and she just happened to have died the year before. Stuff like that.”

                “Wow, that’s…that’s kind of coincidental,” Minho said. “So…”

                “So as soon as I stopped writing about guys, that’s when people would start to like me.”

                “So are you saying that you never wrote about me in your diary?” Minho demanded, and Taemin nodded with a smile. “Aw, I was hoping to see what you were writing about me.”

                “Silly hyung, I don’t keep a journal anymore,” Taemin laughed.
