“Oh no,” Taemin muttered, “oh no, this is bad, this is bad, this is very bad.”
“What is it, Taeminnie?” Minho asked concernedly, walking over to Taemin and looking into his eyes with worry. “What happened? What’s bad?”
“I forgot to do something that I should never forget to do or I could get a disease.”
“What?” Minho cried. “Wait, what are you talking about? This sounds serious, Taemin, what are you talking about?”
“Oh, hyung, I promised I’d never forget!” Taemin said with anxiety. “I promised! And then I forgot and now…oh, I told him that he would never have to worry about me because I’d be the last person to forget, and now I’ve forgotten. Not only do I feel guilty, I could be getting a disease right now!”
“Wait—who are you talking about? And—I mean, if it’s this serious—do you need to go to the hospital? I can take you right now, just say the word and we’ll go.”
“I don’t think the hospital could help me,” Taemin shook his head sadly, looking down. And then Minho heard Taemin make a strange sounding sniffle. And another. And another.
“Wait, are you laughing?” Minho asked. “Taemin, are you just messing with me?”
“No, hyung, everything I said was true,” Taemin said earnestly, but Minho saw that glimmer of mischief in Taemin’s eyes. He gave him a disapproving look.
“Okay, time to explain,” he said sternly, and Taemin laughed.
“You caught me. I forgot to brush my teeth last night,” Taemin chuckled. “I promised my dentist I’d never forget but I did, and now I’m going to get gingivitis.”
“You are a horrible person. Don’t scare me like that ever again,” Minho breathed with relief. “But I love you all the time anyway.”
A/N: I like this chapter! Yeah I forgot to brush my teeth last night too. And I "accidentally" left my hairbrush at my best friend's house so that I would get to see her again hehehehe. Actually though it was really not on purpose but it just so happens that I get to see her again tomorrow because of it :) So yay.
