“Okay, everyone! Today’s shoot will be in the field near the Starlight Café! Let’s move!” the main director in charge of the crew said with a loud voice.

The crew quickly packed up their stuff and piled it into their cars. They all took off to the field, a little excited. Having a shoot outside was a rare occasion, and that also meant that they were going to have a little BBQ party afterwards.

There were only about twenty people left, and the main director looked around.

“Hmm… about half of you can’t drive,” he noticed. He began pointing at groups of people and telling them which car they should go in. “You four go to Sanghyuk’s car, you two go to Jimin’s car, and you three go to Sejin’s car.”

“Director Oppa! How about me and Yura Unni?”

The director turned his attention to her. “Oh, how could I have forgotten the company’s star? Silly me. You and Yura can go to..Hongbin’s car. Let’s hurry, now! All staff must have everything set up before the star arrives!”

Everyone quickened their pace and left in a hurry.

“Nami-yah, can you help me carry your outfits and the makeup box to Hongbin-sshi’s car?” Yura, Nami’s outfit coordinator and best friend, requested.

“Sure!” Nami grabbed a lot of her outfits, which were pretty heavy, and headed towards Hongbin’s car.  Although she wasn’t sure which car belong to him.

Hongbin, age 21, was the photographer that was paired up with Nami, and he happened to be very quiet. At first, many people mistook this for shyness, but now they know that that’s just his personality.

Hongbin, who was done packing up his stuff, walked outside the studio only to see Nami lingering around the parking lot, looking lost. He also noticed that she was struggling with the clothes in her arms. Hongbin chuckled, which was very rare of him.

Nami looked around. “Aish! Where is it? This is so heavy.” She was pouting as she attempted to walk around.

Suddenly, someone took all the clothes from her, leaving her arms empty.

Confused, Nami turned around to see Hongbin. Even though she was very tall because, after all, she was a model, she still had to look up at Hongbin because he was very tall. Some newcomers at the company often mistake him for a model. “O-oh, Hongbin-sshi. Thank you.”

Hongbin remained silent as he walked over to his car. It happened to be a decently expensive car, Nami noticed, and it was white.

Simple but classy. Hmm, not bad, Nami thought as Hongbin opened the trunk and carefully laid all the clothes down.

“I’ll go help Yura Unni,” Nami said awkwardly before shuffling away.

Hongbin watched her as she walked away from him. Nami, age 20, was a model for a year now. She was their youngest model, but she was everyone’s favorite. Looking young and fresh, while not being too pretty (which would look very fake), she was the epitome of gorgeousness. With her bright and kind personality, her smartness, her natural beauty, and her perfectly proportioned body, she was deemed perfect in the society’s eyes, which included the crew of this modeling company as well. She was nicknamed the company’s star; everyone loved her.

And Hongbin had to admit, working with her was indeed entertaining. Although Hongbin was more on the quiet, colder side, her bright personality and her contagious laughs would brighten up everyone on the set. He liked working with her, to be honest.

In the midst of his thoughts, Nami and Yura returned carrying heavy boxes of makeup and accessories. Hongbin quickly woke up from his thoughts and he took the boxes in each arm easily. He placed them in the trunk and closed the hood.

“Let’s go,” Hongbin said.

Yura and Nami went to the back seats as Hongbin sat in the driver’s seat and the engine. They headed to the field, which took approximately thirty minutes to go to. During the ride, Yura and Nami were chatting about Nami’s outfits.

“Hongbin-sshi, what do you think will be the main themes for the photoshoot?” Yura asked.

“There will be three scenes: in the forest, in the meadow of flowers, and on the grass,” Hongbin replied.

“Okay! Then in the forest, we’ll put on a natural look. For the meadow, we’ll put pastel colors on your look. For the grass, let’s make it bright and happy,” Yura said, already thinking of the perfect outfits and makeup looks.

“You always give me the best outfits, Unni, so I’ll leave it all up to you!” Nami said with a cute smile. Hongbin unintentionally caught that smile as he was looking through the rear mirrors to take a left turn. He had to admit, seeing her smile naturally without any care about how she looked made her look…pretty. This smile was different from the smile he saw as he was behind a camera. He wanted to see more of it, and he especially wanted to see it directed at him.

Hongbin gave a mental sigh. But she’ll never notice me. I’m just the boring old photographer. What nobody knew was that Hongbin had a little affection for the company’s star, but what guy didn’t? And being the quiet, emotionless photographer, he felt that he would have less of a chance with the company’s bright shining star.

They arrived at the field, and Hongbin helped carry the heavy load. The rest of the crew was already set up, and they were just waiting for the star to arrive to begin the shoot.

“Nami, go change into these!” Yura said, tossing a couple pieces of clothing to Nami. Yura rushed over to her makeup box and began to take out everything she needed as she waited for Nami to finish changing.

Hongbin walked over to the forest, which was the first shoot, and set up his camera. As he waited, he looked through the pictures on his camera. All of the pictures in the SD card that was currently in his camera were all of Nami, since his job was to only take pictures of her. He didn’t smile, but his eyes softened as he scrolled through the pictures of her posing professionally, but a few pictures after those would be pictures of her naturally laughing and being herself. Those pictures were his favorites, and he often wished to send those pictures off to the magazines she was in. But that wasn’t his decision, it was the director’s.

Nami finished dressing and Yura was applying makeup on her as fast as possible. Once done, Nami rushed over to where Hongbin was. Hongbin gave a little chuckle when Nami was standing in front of his camera and trying to catch her breath after running. Unknowingly, Hongbin’s fingures began to move on the camera.

“Tell me when you’re ready,” Hongbin said. The only time anyone ever hears Hongbin’s voice is when he is working.

After a few seconds, Nami straightened up. “Okay, I’m ready, Hongbin-sshi! Tell me what I need to do!” Nami gave a small salute and giggled.

Click. Click.

“Stand besides that tree and be natural,” Hongbin said.
