Knock knock.

Nina rolled her eyes. "Again?" she asked out loud.

She got another knock in reply.

"Alright, alright. I'm coming," she said. She turned off the drama she was watching on TV and walked over to the door before unlocking it. There revealed Kai, who was hunched over with all his weight on one leg. She guessed that he had hurt his other leg to the point that he could barely put any weight on it. In addition to that, he was supporting his body by holding onto the door frame with one arm. He had a few cuts and bruises on his face and his bare arm.

Seeing this, Nina made a sound of disapproval before taking his arm and putting it on her shoulders before guiding him to her couch.

Sighing, Kai got comfortable on her couch and let his tired body rest. Nina quickly ran over to the medicine cabinet and got out some material to treat him. She scurried back to his side and began to carefully peel the sweaty t-shirt off of him. It was ripped up pretty badly anyways.

She sighed before disinfecting the wounds, putting medicine on them, and covering them with a band-aid. The side of his lips twitched up for a quick second as a thank you as he laid down on the couch.

"This isn't your house, you know," Nina said as she put all the treatment stuff away.

"But it's yours," Kai pointed out. His voice was close to a whisper because of his exhaustion.

Nina gave him a look, even though she knew his eyes were closed. Sighing for the nth time that day, she sat down on the ground with her back against the couch that Kai was on. She reached out on the table for the remote to turn on the TV, and she continued watching her drama as Kai took a nap behind her.

Occasionally, she would turn back to check on him again, only to find that he was in the same position as he was a few minutes ago when she last checked. She gave a quick chuckle before turning back to the TV.

As Nina was reading a book in the same position as she was watching the drama, she heard a groan from behind.

"Eung? Are you awake?" Nina asked.

Kai nodded. "Thanks," he said, before getting off o
