Jungkook looked at his phone in class. Why isn't Eunseul texting me today? he wondered. He decided to wait for her today in front of her locker during lunch.

"Hi Eunseul!" Junkook said when she came to her locker.

"Hi," she quietly said with a sad expression on her face.

Jungkook was confused. Is there something wrong? Is she mad at me? What's wrong?

Eunseul was staying quiet the entire time they walked over to their table where all their friends were sitting. She sat down and he chose to sit besides her.

"Now how did you losers do on the exam?" the eldest named Jin asked them playfully.

"I did okay!" Somi, one of their friends, replied.

A big sigh was heard from besides Jungkook. He turned to see Eunseul lightly poking her food.

Lunch quickly passed and Jungkook went to his last two periods. Hmm. Why is Eunseul acting like this today?

In his last class, everyone was talking about the semester exams.

"How did you do?"

"I did great!"

"Ehh, could've done better."

"I did horrible! How am I going to show this to my parents at home?"

Suddenly it clicked. Ah! The semester exam results were released yesterday night, huh? Oh no, Eunseul must've not done so well. That's why she's so sad! He sighed, sad because his best friend was sad. Even though these two were best friends, Jungkook couldn't help but think of her as a girl. His affections for her were beginning to grow. So that was why HE wanted to be the one to cheer her up. Suddenly, a lightbulb clicked in his head. It's a Friday! I know what to do now! He impatiently waited for the last bell to ring so he could get out of the classroom. Once it rang, he ran over to find Eunseul outside walking home.

"Eunseul! Let's go to eat your favorite ddeokbokki!" Jungkook said. He linked his arm with hers and pulled her before she could say anything.

He took her to her favorite ddeokbokki restaurant and ordered for the both of them. When the food came, he tried to make her eat a lot. He kept feeding her every now and then to make sure she was eating. He also tried to start interesting conversations with her
