"Oppa, wake up!" Jaerin called sweetly through the phone, expecting her lazy boyfriend to still be sleeping.

Leo, who was already awake for the first time, nervously looked around, thankful that this was a phone call and not video call or else she would've seen him being nervous. Should I act like I'm still sleeping?

"Hello? Are you awake?" Jaerin said, wondering why there was no response.

Leo made some random mumbling sounds, pretending he was mumbling in his sleep.

"Oh, you're still sleeping. Okay, sleep well, Oppa!" Jaerin said.

When Leo heard the click sound, he sighed. It worked. He then continued to plan something special for his girlfriend.

Jaerin pouted, realizing her boyfriend was still asleep. "Ah~ I'm so bored though." She was already on summer break, since colleges usually end earlier than normal schools do. She looked around for something that could occupy her while she was waiting for her boyfriend to wake up. She wanted to spend time with him today, but she would have to wait until he wakes up.

Her eyes brightened, realizing it was Monday. "Yes! I can watch the newest episode of Who Are You!" she said to herself, doing a little mini dance to celebrate. Who Are You: School 2015 was a popular drama these days among the younger viewers, and it was yet another successful addition to the School series.

Jaerin happily got some snacks from the cupboard and she made herself a nice strawberry smoothie. She set them on the coffee table in front of her TV and wrapped herself in a cozy blanket. She got herself comfy before connecting her laptop with the TV screen and finding the newest episode online. As the show turned up on the TV screen, she smiled giddily to herself.

For the next hour, Jaerin was immersed into the show. During the funny parts, she laughed. During the sad parts, she pouted. And when her favorite character, Gong Taekwang (played by BTOB's Yook Sungjae) came on screen, she squealed. She really admired him for his funny, yet caring and sweet personality.

An hour later, the drama was over. Jaerin sighed, wishing there was more to watch. In order to satisfy her boredom, she watched various variety shows and even ended up going on a BTOB video spree and watched all the videos she could find of them.

Soon, a couple hours of watching random videos grew tiring and she was left with nothing to do. Her boredom returned. What is there to do? Break just started and I'm already bored! She sighed and looked over to her phone. She then sat up in excitement. I can call Leo Oppa!

She quickly clicked the call button and listened to the music as she waited for him to pick up. After a couple rings, Jaerin realized he wasn't picking up, so she hung up.

On the other side of the phone, Leo sighed in relief. At this rate, she'll come over and the surprise will be ruined! he thought nervously.

Leo was already nervous enough for today. He spent the day getting all the supplies, food, and decorations ready to surprise his girlfriend with a special birthday event. Jaerin is turning 21 today. Her day has to be perfect, and I'm going to make sure it is. Determined, he continued to get ready for this special day.

He quickly decided to call Jaerin's close friend, Jieun.

"Hello?" she said into the phone, not sure why Leo called.

"Jieun-ah! Can you please distract Jaerin?" he asked desperately.

Jieun replied, "Is it for the midnight event you planned?"

"Yeah. Just for a couple hours please!" he pleaded.

Jieun chuckled. "Of course I would. Anything to make the soon-to-be birthday girl happy. You can count on me."
