Today was BigHit High School's annual talent show. The entire school day was ignored as everyone- including the teachers and the staff- all went to go watch the talent show at 2PM. It was a school thing for the entire school to watch. It was a big event as well, so everyone was excited to go and watch.

Many talented students would have a chance to sing, dance, or play an instrument. And today, a second year boy was planning to dance and sing. His dance and vocal teacher had made him do this talent show, saying something along the lines of 'You must show your talent to the world' or something like that. Jungkook didn't mind performing in front of large crowds; he loved performing. He really wanted to become a kpop singer and dancer, or a vocal/dance teacher like his current vocal/dance teacher. Anything worked, as long as he could keep singing and dancing, he was satisfied. He was nervous for another reason today.

He knew that she would be watching.

Jungkook had a crush on a third year named Athena, who was his noona. The two were in a few of the same classes, like vocal, dance, and math (Jungkook was good at math) classes. He met her this year, and a few months later he finds himself here, liking this noona.

He really liked the way she sang and danced. He liked how hard she would try in math, and he felt bad that he was younger, yet in the same math class as her because it made her feel stupid. However, this was a high class for her grade as well. Jungkook just happened to be a math genius.

He especially liked how kind and generous she was. Everyone liked her for this, and Jungkook was no different. When Jungkook got to tag along at outings with her friends, which also happened to include a few of his closest hyungs, he noticed how she made sure to take care of everyone, which included himself. And it was at times like these outings where he found himself liking her more and more.

Jungkook was looking at his outfit behind the stage, making sure everything was how it was supposed to be. He made some last minute touches on his shirt, his snapback, his shoes, and everything else. This seemed to ease the nervousness, but he was still pretty darn nervous.

I hope I don't mess up. She might see. I hope I don't trip. She might laugh. I hope my voice doesn't crack up. She might laugh at this too. I hope... Endless thoughts like this roamed around in his head, contributing to the evergrowing nervousness that grew as the time for him to go on stage grew closer.

The performance in front of him was slowly coming to an end, and a few backstage crew members that are high schoolers came to tell him some necessary information about safety and other things of the like. He nodded and pretended to seem like he was understanding, while in reality he was just thinking of bad situations that could happen to his performance. He didn't hear when a few of the crew members told him that they would put a headset microphone on him. Heck, he didn't even realize that they had put it on him as he was busy thinking. They soon left him to help out with the lights and the music, and he was left at the side of his stage, waiting for the cue that would tell him to go on stage
