Donghyuk was studying hard at a cafe near his high school when suddenly, the girl in front of him slammed her pencil to the table.

"UGH. How am I supposed to pass this test? It's history!" Yoon Seorin said with a terrified expression on her face.

Donghyuk couldn't help but chuckle at how worried she looked. "Well, that's why we're here to study, right?"

Seorin pouted. "But no matter how much I study, I can never get higher than a 65% on a history test. History is my worst subject, and you know that."

"Hmm.. maybe we can study twice as hard?"

"That's not going to work," Seorin said. "And Teacher Yi said that if we get below a 65% on this test, then we have to go to mandatory after school tutoring lectures. And those end at 9PM! When will we get to eat dinner then? At eleven?"

Donghyuk attempt to supress a laugh because he knew that Seorin was really not in a good mood. However, he couldn't help but think of how funny she sounded right now. All she seemed to worry about was the fact that she would starve during the tutoring lectures over anything else.

"You know, let's think on the bright side. We'll try our hardest to study for this test, and if we get below a 65%, then we'll go to the lectures! Then on the next test, we'll get a higher grade on the test, which would mean that we no longer need the lectures. Does that sound like a plan?"

"But.. what about dinner?" Seorin asked with look on her face that resembled a sad puppy.

Donghyuk chuckled. "We'll sneak in food if we have to. Don't worry. I'm sure they won't be that bad."

Seorin sighed. "Fine. Maybe I'll be lucky and magically get a good grade. You're lucky you never fail Teacher Yi's tests."

With that, Seorin got back to studying. She began to read through the boring old textbook with a big pout on her face.

After two hours of memorizing the different dynasties and time periods of ancient Korea, Donghyuk looked up to see that Seorin was well into a nap, using her history textbook as a pillow. He laughed at how well she was sleeping, even though their test was tomorrow. Although he knew how hard she actually tried to study, he had to admit that history was just not her thing. She had been getting below 60% on the past few exams, and he knew that this time won't be any different.

Although they still had a few hours left at the cafe, Donghyuk decided to close his textbook. He crossed his arms on the table and propped up his chin on top and began to simply stare at Seorin.
