BG Music: Christmas Day by Jungkook & Jimin

Jungkook entered school twenty minutes late with a groan. Not again. Every day it's the same, boring routine. He scratched his head with an annoyed sigh. He put his hand in his pocket and walked into class, ignoring all the stares.

"Late again, Jeon Jungkook?" the teacher said, giving him a look.

"Sorry." Jungkook sat down and slouched, looking around bored.

The teacher stared at him with an annoyed look on her face before she cleared and looked away. "So, like I was saying, there's a new student at school today, and she's in your grade. She's not in this class, but make sure to greet her if you see her! So for the lesson..."

Jungkook zoned the teacher out and began playing with his pencil. New girl, huh?

Lunch time came, and Jungkook got his lunch before sitting down on his usual table with the other guys. Jimin and Hoseok were goofing around, while Taehyung was trying to get his girlfriend's attention. The usual.

When Jungkook started eating, Jimin and Hoseok greeted him.

"So did you hear about the new girl?" Jimin asked.

"She's in my class! She's pret-" Taehyung started, before clearing his throat and glancing at his girlfriend, who was giving him a stare. "I mean, she's okay. You know. No one's as pretty as my Yeseul~"

Yeseul laughed. "Nice save, dork." She hit his stomach with the back of her hand before turning her attention to the others. "Like he was saying, she's really pretty. All the guys like her already."

"Really?" Hoseok said. "I wonder how long it'll take for her to fall in love with Jungkook. A month? Three weeks?"

"Eyy," Jimin said, cutting Hoseok off. "I'd say two weeks at most."

"Wanna bet?" Hoseok offered. "Loser buy BBQ!"

"Call!!" Jimin said.

Yeseul stared at both in disgust. "Is a girl's feelings a game to you guys?"

Jimin shook his head. "They're not, but how fast girls can fall in love is pretty interesting."

Yeseul rolled her eyes. "Why am I friends with you guys again?"

"Because of me?" Taehyung said, giving her a cheesy smile.

"I still think two weeks is too short," Hoseok said.

"One," Jungkook said while standing up to throw his food away because he was done. "Give me one week." He coolly walked away, making girls swoon left and right.

"Cocky," Jimin said.

"Better for me!" Hoseok said. "Get ready to buy me BBQ, Jimin."

Jungkook walked in the hallways, looking for the new girl everyone was crazy about. He looked around, glancing at any girl to see if it was the new girl. Too short. That girl's hair is weird. That girl's too nerdy. Can't be that girl, he thought as he looked around.

And just when the bell rang, his eyes landed on one girl he hasn't seen before. She was looking the other way, but just by her chestnut colored hair, he knew something was different about this girl. She had a radiant vibe that he hadn't felt from any other girl he had seen before.

Just then, the new girl gracefully turned around and met eyes with him. Jungkook froze at her beauty. She was tall, had long, wavy hair, and a cute face. She's really, really pretty, Jungkook thought, dumbfounded by her beauty. He continued to stare at her, not realizing that she was approaching him.

The new girl waved her hand in front of his face, waking him from his daze. "Hi! I'm new here, and I was wondering if you would mind taking me to my next class? I've been searching all lunch, but I can't seem to find it." She smiled shyly and chuckled, realizing how she just approached a random student.

Jungkook looked at her schedule and saw that her next class was the same as his. Yes! he thought, before he hid his excitement with his cool facade. "You have math with me. I'll take you." He walked off, trying to appear really cool in front of her. But for some reason, he couldn't be as suave and cool as he was with any other girl. Somehow, she was different. She made him different.

The new girl walked quickly to catch up to Jungkook. When she caught up, she matched his pace and walked alongside him. "So, what's your name?" she asked in a cute, bubbly voice.

"Jungkook," he replied, as he tried not to glance at her to not give it away that he was being shy for the first time in his life.

"Oh," she said. "I'm Dani! Nice to meet you!"

Jungkook almost smiled at how cute she was, but he stopped himself from doing so. "We're almost there."

"Okay, thanks!" Dani said. The two continued to walk together to class, ignoring all the gossip that was going on around them as they got to know each other.

"What? Jungkook walked the new girl to class? And he talked to her? And smiled?!? And he even walked her home? That's impossible!" Jimin threw his hands up in confusion. "He would never do that! Unless...." Jimin gasped as he looked at Hoseok.

"He likes her," Hoseok and Jimin said at the same time.

Yeseul chuckled. "You guys are idiots. Maybe he found her to be really nice?"

Jimin and Hoseok both gave her a look at the same time.

Yeseul held up her hands in defense. "Alright, alright. It's not like Jungkook to be this nice to someone. Maybe it's a good thing that our maknae is falling in love!"
