"So will you do it this year?" Baro asked.

"I-i don't know, hyung," Gongchan said in a small voice.

Jinyoung sighed. "Yah, Maknae. If you like her that much, just get the courage and confess!"

Gongchan eyes with Jinyoung's. "B-but, what if she doesn't like me? What if she rejects me for another guy? What if-"

"Stop," the eldest, Shinwoo said. "You're being unrealistic right now."

"Yeah!" Sandeul agreed. "I'm sure she likes you. I have my sources, you know. And plus, she's way too nice to reject a guy. But no other guy is making a move because everyone's aware of your little crush. Be thankful that we're popular, alright?"

"Y-you sure?" Gongchan stuttered for the nth time in this conversation.

"Yes!" the four of them chorused in unison.

"Okay, I will," the maknae said, getting some confidence.

It was the Monday before Valentine's Day. The students who attended WM High were excited. It was a tradition for every single student who liked someone to confess with a single red tulip. Even if the receiver did not feel the same way, they were still to accept the red tulip and acknowledge the giver's feelings. If they did, however, return the same feelings, they were to give their own red tulip. It was a cute tradition that all the students really enjoyed, which is why it lasted through all those years. And this year, Valentine's Day happened to land on a Friday. And for that reason, the school decided to give thirty minutes of free time right before the last bell of the day. They had recently finished hard finals last week, so it was a little reward for the students' hard work.

That week, Gongchan spent most of his time in figuring out what he was to say. This was his first confession ever, and the reason was because he always had his attention on that one girl he met in elementary school. And this Friday, he was planning to finally confess after those many years.

Every day that week, he had practiced his confession. He wanted it to be perfect. He even made his hyungs come over to his house just so he could practice. Of course, they encouraged him to be a little more relaxed and go with the flow, but planning everything out was the only way to calm down Gongchan, who was feeling super nervous.

It was another day where his hyungs had come over.

"Hyungs, what should I do after I confess?" Gongchan said.

"Hmm... maybe take her out for a date? It's Friday anyways!" Shinwoo suggested.

"What does she like?" Jinyoung asked.

Gongchan thought for a moment. "She likes taking pictures more than anything. I remember her telling me she was in Photography class."

Sandeul clapped once. "That's it. She likes making memories. She's the type to cherish little things, so she would enjoy simple dates like going to eat something or walking around. I'd say you take her to the mall."

The boys all looked at Sandeul, dumbfounded. "How did you know that?" Shinwoo asked questioningly.

Sandeul shrugged. "I know people well. It's obvious. She's a photographer."

They gave him one last weird stare before ignoring how observant Sandeul was with people.

"O-okay, so a mall date? Should I buy her something to eat while we shop?" Gongchan asked.

Jinyoung nodded. "Cafe or ice cream shop would be a nice choice."

"Definitely ice cream shop. She seems like the sweet type," Baro said.

Gongchan nodded, taking mental notes of this planning. "Okay. Thank you, Hyungs!"

Finally, Friday had come. All the classes were out for the special thirty minutes of free time. Guys were scambling to find the girl they wanted to confess to, and girls were with their friends, hoping a guy would confess to them. Gongchan took a deep breath. "Fighting!" he quietly whispered to himself. "I can do it!"

With those words of self-encouragement, he made his way towards Jisoo, the person he was planning to confess to. Just as he was close enough to call her and have her hear him, another guy approached her one step faster than him. He took a step back and hid from the two.
