Ah Ra was at a fancy Italian restaurant with her six closest friends for lunch. They were all celebrating a special day-her birthday. Everyone was having a good time eating the good food while sharing memories, joking around, talking about embarrassing moments, and telling stories. The seven girls laughed and talked for two full hours.

However, the birthday girl was a little sad on the inside. She had breakfast at a famous pancake restaurant, and she was here now eating good Italian food, but one fact bugged her.

Her boyfriend didn't call her.

Ah Ra was secretly really upset that he didn't call, text, or come to her house all day. The person she wanted to spend this day with the most was him, but why wouldn't he call her? No birthday messages, no wake up call, nothing. She was honestly a little hurt.

However, she still attempted to seem like she had a good time all day. But being her closest girl friends, they immediately knew something was up.

"What's wrong?" Jieun, one of her friends, asked her.

Ah Ra sighed. She could never fool her best friends. "Ravi isn't calling."

The six girls looked at her, knowing how sad she must be. They knew that the couple had been together for already two years now, so it was pretty serious. But the fact that he didn't call must've brought terrible thoughts to her head. Does he not care about me anymore? Does he want to break up? He obviously forgot..

The girls tried to brighten Ah Ra's mood by telling her funny, embarassing stories. It helped a little, but they knew that only one thing- or one person- would make her feel completely better at the moment.

The two hours were up, and the seven had to sadly split up. They handed Ah Ra her birthday presents, and they all gave each other goodbye hugs, promising that they'll meet up soon once again.

Ah Ra waved to them before walking back home. She sighed once again while carrying the presents in her hand. She knew she should be grateful for all of this, but she couldn't find the heart to do so. She needed her boyfriend. He was the one who made her feel special. He was the one who sweetly called her 'baby' all the time. He was always there for her. But it was different today. Everything was off.

She struggled trying to get the key to unlock her house door while balancing all the presents on her spare hand. Finally, she was succesful, and the door clicked as it unlocked. She stepped into the house and dropped all the presents on her couch. She plopped her body on the couch besides the presents and took her phone out of her pocket. She pressed the lock button, causing the screen to light up and show off a selca she took with her boyfriend. It was a collage of two pictures. One was of them smiling, looking like the two happiest people on Earth. In the second picture, her boyfriend secretly snuck a kiss on her cheek. The photo took right then with him kissing Ah Ra's cheek and Ah Ra having the most surprised face ever. Her boyfriend bugged her until she would change her lock screen to that. It made her smile, but she wanted to see him badly. She typed her lock screen password, which was her boyfriend's birthday. It unlocked, and a picture of her boyfriend cutely smiling was her home screen. She laughed at herself. Do I really like him that much? she thought to herself. She then looked at her homescreen once more. Yes, yes I do, she thought, answering her own question.

Right then, her phone vibrated. She hurriedly unlocked her phone once more to read the text. She got her hopes up high, thinking that it was her boyfriend. However, she was slightly disappointed to see who had text her. It was her boyfriend's own best guy friend, someone she was pretty close to as well. If even her boyfriend's best friend texted her, why couldn't he? She sighed once more before reading the text.
