“JUNG KOOK!” the door to the room the two of you was residing in burst open and in flooded all the BTS boys.

You and Jung Kook immediately pulled away from each other, clearing your throats awkwardly. You and Jung Kook both looked away, avoiding each other’s gazes.

“So this was where you were!” Jimin rolled his eyes, “Why are you guys hiding here anyways? Come on, get up!”

The boy, completely disregarding the atmosphere he had destroyed, made his way over to you and pulled you to your feet.

Then, he reached over at Jung Kook to help him up also but he swatted his hand away.

“Rude,” Jimin narrowed his eyes, “What’s up with you? So moody.”

A smile crept upon V’s expression and he could immediately understand what had happened.

The two of you must’ve had some sort of a romantic moment that was rudely interrupted by the guys.

By the look on your face, he could tell you must’ve finally spoken your mind honestly to Jung Kook – another step to clearing the misunderstanding.

Suga glanced over at Jung Kook, “Why were you two here?”

“Yujin’s afraid of the thunder, so I was comforting her,” Jung Kook smoothly replied.

Your expression changed to one of relief as you were hoping that Jung Kook wouldn’t go talking about your personal thoughts to the rest of the guys.

J-Hope furrowed his eyebrows, “What thunder? That ended awhile ago.”

Now it was yours and Jung Kook’s turn to feel awkward.

The two of you had gotten so involved with each other, time must’ve flown by to the point where you had both disregarded the weather.

“We didn’t notice,” you rubbed the back of your neck, giving him a sheepish smile.

“How did you not notice?” Jimin blinked, “You must be lying. Do you know how loud thunder is? How could you just suddenly decide not to hear it? I mean –“

Jung Kook rotated his neck and his eyes narrowed at Jimin, “You know, you talk too much. Now, are you going to shut up or shall I shut you up?”

You couldn’t help but laugh at Jung Kook and Jimin. Jimin had completely shown no knowledge of your moment with Jung Kook. It was as if he was so oblivious towards the awkwardness in the tension earlier when the boys had burst in the room.

“Hey! Don’t talk to your hyung like that!” Jimin replied, clearly displeased, “Where’s your respect, maknae? I was just asking a few questions…”

V quickly went up to Jimin and covered his mouth and pulled him back, “I’m sorry, would you please excuse him?”

He chuckled and led Jimin out of the room where he lightly hit the side of his head.

Then, he began to explain and somewhat lecture him about his obliviousness – the situation with you and Jung Kook was obviously developing – no thanks to the BTS boys.

Jung Kook crossed his arms and huffed lightly.

He was extremely unhappy that his moment was ruined by his hyungs. He was so close to confessing to you again, but the whole thing was messed up.

Not only was he about to confess again, you had finally opened up to him.

What if there was no second time that would allow the two of you to talk like this again?

What was he supposed to do then?

“Aish!” he ruffled his hair and sent his hyungs cold, dagger-like looks.

Nam Joon looked at Jung Kook and then the rest of the boys. He didn’t know why he was getting so mad. Couldn’t the idiot maknae just find another day to confess?

It couldn’t be that hard – it was only three words.

Shrugging, he gestured the rest of the boys to follow him out and leave the annoyed maknae and you. You and Jung Kook just glanced at each other awkwardly.

“U-Um…” you weren’t even sure what to say at this point.

Jung Kook tried to bring back that moment you two had shared, but he couldn’t either. All he could do was to try and muster up the courage to confess to you again.

“Yujin,” he began, catching your attention.

“Yes?”

After a moment of quietness, Jung Kook opened his mouth, “I think I’m in –“

However, before he could finish his sentence, he was interrupted again.

“YUJIN!”

Annoyed, Jung Kook couldn’t help but scream ‘Who the is it this time?!’ within his mind.
