A Love to Kill For

Description

"I can hear more loudly in my ear what you say with your gaze." - 2PM, Tik Tok

Plot Overview:

This is a story about how a boy meets a girl.

The boy hates lies.

The girl only lies.

But somehow, the two of them quickly bond.

A relationship is formed.

The boy wants to kill the girl.

The girl has no idea what is awaiting her.

This is the story of Park Saemi, the liar.

This is also the story of the birth of Mark Tuan, the psychopath.

A/N: This story is going to be slightly different from the other stories I have written before. A little bit about psychopaths, they do not appear to be cold, merciless killers. They are usually able to socialize with people rather than stay holed up at home. Psychopaths easily make friends, even if they are not morally correct. However, keep in mind that this story is about the birth of a psychopath, as in there are some psychopathic characteristics being exhibited but not all of them.

Foreword

Who is he? ( p r o l o g u e )

If you asked anyone at JG High, who the most popular kid in school was, they would easily tell you it was a boy named Mark Tuan.

If you asked them to describe the one known as Mark Tuan, they would tell you about how charming he was. They would tell you that Mark has never made a single enemy in his life. Everyone who came in contact with him eventually become his friend. They would then put you in awe as they tell you the fact that every morning, he would not hesitate to greet everyone he passed with a warm smile. If you ever needed help, he would be your savior.

They would tell you that Mark Tuan is the closest existence to perfection.

Now, if you had chosen to ask anyone in Mark's immediate family about the type of person he is, you'd start finding some inconsistencies in this so-called perfect image of his.

You would first realize that the only family Mark has left is his father. You'd wonder what happened to his mother, and you would quickly discover that his mother died when he was six years old. You might feel sorry for his broken family, but his father would not hesitate to tell you to stay away from Mark. He would ramble on about how much pain Mark had brought to his family.

He would tell you that whenever Mark was around, bad things would happen. He would tell you it was only after his wife died that he left Mark, and it was only when he left Mark that he finally found a little peace.

Now you've realized that Mark hasn't seen his father for years.

Knowing this, you start doubting his father's story. He hasn't seen Mark for awhile. Mark could have changed since then. Perhaps Mark truly was this perfect student that everyone else seems to believe.

Now look a little closer. You might notice the fear in his father's eyes when he spoke, and truly saw his father's actions, you would be able to see the anger and the hatred. You would know that Mark does not come from a happy family, and you might guess that he was hated by his own father.

Naturally, you'd be confused.

You'd wonder what had happened that caused such a reaction from his father. You might even wonder if someone is truly able to change from the monster that his father described him as to the angel that the students at school see him as. However, you may also wonder why anyone want to stay away from someone as perfect as Mark. You would wonder why his father seems to be scared of his own son. You would wonder why Mark doesn't show any of these past experiences at school.

Wouldn't he seem sad? Wouldn't he seem lonely? Then you might wonder if Mark has created a fake image at school.

Then you'd start to question the facts that you thought you knew. The boy that every student at JG High as perfect, does he even exist? Does perfection exist? Could perfection exist?

Doubts would start to form in your mind.

Now you wouldn't know what to think. The idea of perfection no longer seems so perfect anymore. Frankly, it might scare you a bit. If Mark seemed so perfect to everyone else, why did his name trigger such a response from his own father?

Take these thoughts and combine them with the answers you received from his classmates and his father. Who is right about Mark? His father? His classmates? The past? The present?

Then you would hesitate.

Does anyone truly know who Mark Tuan is?
