The moment leading up to sitting in his office was painfully scary. Teddy was quick to skedaddled back to his studio after YG’s assistant acknowledged their presence. Being left alone in his office as he finished up his meeting on the new upcoming group, she was trying to decipher that brain of his. It was impossible to predict what could be going through that head of his.
He was already unhappy about their relationship when it was leaked to the public months ago. The idea was terrifying because she was going back on her words. She wanted to choose option two now, to face the consequences with Jiyong, hand in hand. Taking the initiative to be there was one thing, but to be able to firmly speak her mind to YG was another. Especially without Jiyong there for moral support.
She wasn’t afraid of YG. She was afraid of his words and actions that could hurt her or her boyfriend. Jiyong may be his favorite, but it’s his business versus Jiyong when it comes down to serious business issues. Their relationship meant nothing to the businessman. It’s his company and products that mostly matter to him at the end of the day.
“Sorry about that, Eunji,” YG walked through the door in his usual outfit. Sleeves rolled up, pants down to his calves, and a hat on his head. “Go ahead and have a seat.”

“A lot has happened and I’ve been replaying them over and over in my head. Obviously, I don’t have what it takes to be his girlfriend. I cannot support him physically, mentally, or emotionally in the way that people expect me to, especially with his kind of job.”
Surprisingly, Eunji was speaking clearly about her feelings and thoughts. She was pouring it out like it is. Although she was caught off guard by the fact that YG has yet to interrupt her, she kept it calm and continued.
“I cannot meet the expectations to the fullest, but I am capable of supporting him from behind when he needs it the most. My love for him doesn’t need to explained to anyone as long as he understands it.” Her lips were getting dry, but she pushed through it. “The reason why I’m saying all of this is because I am his girlfriend.”
She paused, waiting for YG to say something.
He smacked his lip as he looked up, pondering on her words. “Do you think as his girlfriend, it would be wise to jeopardize his career?”
“Which part of my being his girlfriend is jeopardizing it?” She retorted with a quest
