Chapter 79
Damned Angel“Happy Halloween”, Lala entered the dorm completely beaming, which was a complete 180 of her mood before she went home. “I’ve missed you”, I hugged her tight, “I thought you weren’t going to come back”. “Tonight is the biggest party of the year… how could I ever miss it?”, she seemed bubblier. I chewed down the last bit of my breakfast and grabbed my bag, “I have a test today and then we’re taking the kids trick or treating so I will probably only be back around 8; I will see you guys at the party”. “Do you have a lift there or are you going to show up on Daniel’s motorbike, with helmet hair?”, Ash sneered.
“We are going to have Woojin’s dad’s car since the boys will be with us”, I explained. “Wait, you’re bringing them to a college party?”, Lala asked, “Unless they have gotten older in the time I was away". “No… we are going trick or treating, then Daehwi and Guan have a party of their own to attend. So we will drop them off at their friend’s house, drop Woojin at home and then come back to WOU”, I said. “That sounds like a busy day”, Ash added. “It’s going to be so much fun! Spending the day with my favourite guys”, I grinned. “Oh is hot Ong coming too?”, Lala teased, “Because if he isn’t, you wouldn’t be spending the day with all your favourite guys”. “Remind me again why I had missed you”, I left the dorm before I could get an answer…

JR was still missing since I had last seen him at the club. He hadn’t shown up for any classes, which was pretty normal amongst college students. But now he wasn't showing up for tests either. Why was I worried? Whether he passed or failed had nothing to do with me. Still, I couldn’t shake the feeling that something bad had happened. This was now my normal paranoia every time I didn’t see someone in a while. “Hey Woodam, are you ready?”, I asked. He shook his head frantically, “Apparently last year, this test was so bad, only 20 out of 200 people passed”. “Oh great, just what I needed”, I let out a heavy sigh. “You should have come to our study session.
