"Happy birthday to you… Happy birthday to you", we sang to Daehwi once the festivities had begun. Ash, Lala and I had spent a good part of the car ride over here teaching Daniel the song. He had only been to one birthday party before; Woojin's. So he was still fascinated by the whole concept. "Okay let's have the sister of the birthday boy feed him some cake", Taehee announced. I left Daniel's side and headed over to Daehwi. I couldn't believe my baby brother was fifteen years old. I shouldn't have been the one feeding him cake though; It should have been our parents. But they weren't here and it was all because of me. The tears were building up again. I tried to keep a smile on my face as I fed him a piece of cake and then I went back inside the house to compose myself.

"Tris… what's wrong", Daniel had followed me. "Daehwi's an orphan because of me", a tear rolled down my cheek. "I can't let anyone else get hurt because of me and I can't be abducted that easily again. I don't want to be the damsel in distress. I know you want to protect me and I love you for that. But I need to be able to protect myself. And I can't rely on powers that we are not even sure I will be getting. I need training… now... not just Triphilim training. I need... physical training. I want to defend myself against people who try to attack me or someone that I love. I need you to teach me". "Tris, you have me and two covens watching over you. What happened with Jinyoung will never happen again. We wouldn't let it", it was weird that Daniel had grouped himself with the guardian angels, "But if you feel this strongly then off course I will help you". The party was over and all the kids except Guanlin had gone home. Daniel and Jihoon were in the living room, watching television, while Ash, Lala, Taehee and I were having drinks in the dining room.
