Daniel and I had returned to the dorm with the food. "Why are you smiling?", he asked. "It's been a while since I’ve seen someone order a kid's meal", I said. "Hey, this isn't for me", Daniel said, "Woojin's been collecting these toys so I always get this meal on the side". “You know you can just buy the toys, right?”, I asked. “Well I do now”, Daniel said, throwing the toy in frustration. Daniel really made no sense to me sometimes. How could someone go from god to absolute cutie in 3 seconds?

"So is this your favourite food?", Daniel asked. "Not really", I said. "I haven't eaten my favourite food in years", I said. "How come?", Daniel asked. "Uhm... It was the last thing my mum made for me, before she died", I said. "I'm sorry", Daniel said, "Do you not want to eat it anymore?", he asked. "Well it was that, at first, but now i just cant bring myself to make it, I guess", I said, "What about you?", I asked. "I don't know if I have a favourite", Daniel said, "But I do enjoy food more when I'm with you". Daniel smiled at me and I needed to remember to snap myself out of this trance he always put me in. It was probably hard for Daniel to understand the effect he had on me. He had once said, he wasn’t good at talking. The more I got to know him, the more I realized how wrong he was. Daniel said things so naturally and easily. And he still had no idea how much, everything he said, made my heart melt.  

“So if we watch a movie after this meal, does that count as our second date?”, Daniel asked. I looked at him confused. “I read somewhere, that the most common date is dinner and a movie”, Daniel said. “Ahh, yes, that is true”, I said. “So does fast food during the day and a DVD count?”, he asked. “Yes, it does”, I said. These little moments of his were so cute. “What would you like to watch?”, I asked. Daniel went over to the stand of dvds. “What is magic mike?”, he asked, causing me to choke on my drink. ”Uhm, that is, Uhm, that is not a date movie”, I said unsure of how to even describe that movie to him. Daniel stared at the cover blankly and put it back down before picking up another one.
