5 years... 5 years to the day my parents died. Between work and studying, my visits to their graves had been reduced. But I was skipping classes today, since it was a special occasion. Although, 'special' probably wasn’t the best word to describe a day like this.

“Are you sure you don’t need us to come with you?”, Lala asked. Things were a bit weird between us in the past week, after our screaming match. But she knew that the anniversary of my parent’s death outweighed our petty argument. “No it’s okay. I told Daniel as well that I just want to spend some time alone with the family”, I said. “Well if you don’t even want your boyfriend there, there is definitely no need for us”, Ash said. “Hey you guys still come before Daniel”, I said. “For now”, Ash joked, "Once a girl gets a man, it's farewell to her girlfriends", she said.

"Hmm are you giving us a heads up for when you and Sungwoon become a couple?", I asked. "God knows what's taking that boy so long", Ash said, frustrated. "You should make the first move", Lala said. "No, why should I?", Ash said, "I want a sweet moment like Tris had". "Then you should date Daniel", Lala said. "That's a brilliant idea", Ash said, "So Tris, you know how much I love you right". "Literally anything else, I will even share my kidneys and lungs with you", I said, "But Daniel is all mine". "Well so much for you guys come before Daniel", Ash said. "Maybe Sungwoon's shy", I said. "When are you seeing Sungwoon again?", Lala asked. "Who knows, who cares", Ash said. "Well, on that happy note, I should get going", I said, "I don't want to get stuck in traffic". "Okay, say hello to Daehwi for us", Ash said. "And your parents", Lala said. "I will", I said, before heading to the university gift store, to pick up some flowers.
