"Are you sure you want to go to class today?", Ash asked. "Why wouldn't I?", I asked. "Well you just look like you could use a day off", Ash said. "I'm fine", I said. "Do you still not want to talk about last night?", Ash asked. "There's nothing to talk about. Daniel and I had a fight", I said. "And the jackass abandoned you in the middle of nowhere", Ash said. "It wasn't like that", I said. "Tris, don't be that girl", Ash said. "What girl?", I asked. "That girl that defends her jerk of a man", Ash said. "I'm getting late for class", I said, grabbing my bag and leaving the dorm. 

I couldn't deal with that right now. How was I going to explain what really happened with Daniel when I didn't understand it myself? Ash was right. I did need a day off; which was why I wasn't headed to class. I needed to find Seongwoo and make sure he was okay. I didn’t know why, but it felt like if I spoke to him, everything was going to make sense. "Tris", someone called out. "Jonghyun, Hi", I said. "Hey, I saw you and thought we could walk to class together", Jonghyun said. "Uhm, I'm actually not headed to class right now", I said. "Oh okay, well I guess I'll see you around then", he said, with a smile. I had seen that smile so many times, while catching glimpses of him during our classes. I never thought I would one day be on the receiving end of it

"Davina!", I yelled across the quad. "Hey Tris", she said excitedly, "What are you doing on this side of the world?", she asked. "Actually I was looking for you", I said. "Me? Why?", Davina asked. "I was wondering if you've seen Seongwoo around?", I asked. "Sorry, I haven't", Davina said. "Oh… well could you maybe check with Taehyun if he...", I started to say, until Davina cut me off.
