“Well...I didn’t let you fall”, Seongwoo said, when we were on the balcony outside my room window. “Thank you”, I said, “Not just for that, but for everything”. "It's my pleasure my lady", Seongwoo said. "Ong, they are going to keep coming after me, aren't they?", I asked. "Yes, but I'll always be here for you", he said. "I feel like I'm supposed to be the one protecting you", I said, "You are in danger because of me". Seongwoo cupped my face and rubbed my cheek with his thumb, “It is my job to protect you, not the other way around... But even if it weren’t my job… I would still do it”, he said. Seongwoo smiled and took off into the sky, before I had any time to react to what he had just said. I stood on my balcony, enthralled at the sight of the moonlight against his glorious wings.

“So you got in quite late last night”, Ash said, the next morning, “Were you with Daniel?”, she asked. “No, I was at the library, studying”, I lied. Even though I was dying to tell Ash and Lala everything, I wasn’t going to be the one who exposes angels to humans. “How was your night?”, I asked. “Well, Sungwoon and I had a very special date last night”, Ash said. “Hmmm how special”, I asked. “As special as it gets”, she said. “Oh my God, oh my God... and here we thought the boy was slow”, I said. “Oh, he isn’t slow at all”, Ash said, winking at me. “Sooo how was he?”, I asked. “Wayyy better than the ex”, she said. “Wow, that good?”, I asked. “Better”, she said, “I know it’s been a while since I have been with a guy, but I don’t remember them being that amazing in bed”.

There was a knock at the door. “Oooh is he back for more?”, I asked. “I’m not expecting Sungwoon... maybe it’s Daniel, finally here to apologize”, Ash said rolling her eyes. I was nervous to see Daniel. So much had changed since the last time I saw him. “Ong”, I said, opening the door, “What are you doing here?”. “Well I just figured now that you know who I am, there’s no reason for the ‘restraining order’ anymore”, he said. “What are you doing here?”, Ash yelled, when she saw who was at the door. “Ash, it’s okay”, I said. “What do you mean it’s okay? Have you forgotten what a creep he is?”, she asked. Hurt had washed over Seongwoo’s face and I couldn't help but feel guilty. I had be the one who had painted that picture in their minds; just because I misjudged him. “I’m sorry, I'll call you later”, I said. “Yeah, okay”, he said, before leaving.
