Myungsoo's POV

I panted as I gained consciousness and I realized I am tied up to a chair. I am placed at the center of the room with a light bulb above my head. I looked for Sue Ji and Sungjong, shouted their name but no one answered. It was so silent and I was alone. I feared something bad happened to both of them. I tried to get off the chair or even just to pull off the chain in my hands but I can't.

"Myungsoo!"

I looked up to see who entered and it was Minwoo.

"You idiot! Where is my girlfirend?! Where did you take my brother??!" I shouted back at him still trying to get off from where I am. He looked at me with a sarcastic face and laughed out loud like a pig.

"Ha! Girlfriend!"

"What do you want from her?! Leave her alone you pig!"

His laughter roared as if he was looking at an idiot. I swear I wanted to rip his head off and shoot his balls.

"Jooyeon! Come here!"

He called out Jooyeon outside the door and someone else entered. Sue Ji entered the room. WTF? She did not look at me and stood beside Minwoo. My brain's ed and I stopped moving as I was looking at them both. Minwoo whispered something to her and she nodded, her face had no emotions and I don't have any clue what the heck is going on here.

"Is Jooyeon the girlfriend you are talking about?" Minwoo asked me sarcastically.

"Her name is not Jooyeon! She is Sue Ji and get away from her! Sue Ji, run. please run"

The next thing that happened drained the human out of me. Minwoo walked up behind me as he laughed. I did not even mind him anymore. If you ask me what was going on in my mind, nothing. Honestly nothing. Minwoo took my chains and he made me stand. I did not even try to run away, I just stood there like an idiot.

 I watched with awe as she held the gun with one hand. I expected her to tremble but no, she held it with skill. It looks like as if she did it on a daily basis. But beyond my admiration, what caught me now is astonishment. I was surprised to see her aiming the gun right to my face.

“Last words for him, honey?” I heard Minwoo spoke behind me. That moron. I should’ve killed him when I had the chance. I never thought he’d trap me like this. Well, I must say that was brilliant. I got carried away.

I stood at the center of this spacious, empty room. It was just us three. I can taste my own blood from the corner of my lip. Every part of my body was in pain. I was chained and battered ruthlessly before they brought me here. I tried to stand still inspite of my shaking knees. I’m so weak that I’ll pass out anytime. But seeing her like that makes me endure it all. I want to know everything.

I never took my eyes off her. I watched her motions, trying to read her. Unfortunately, all I saw was nothing. I’m good at reading minds but hers, I just can’t. She used to look at me with much affection in her eyes. But now, she’s just a stranger.

She glanced at Minwoo for a second before walking up to me. She stood so close that our faces are just an inch away from each other. Her eyes were locked in mine and for a moment, I saw them expressing apology. She wrapped an arm around my neck, pulled me closer and kissed me gently. That’s when the loud gunshot echoed throughout the room.
