Chapter 29 – Life

After two years..

“Myungsoo. They’re chasing me. I got no guns.”

I got the call from Dongwoon. I immediately turned around the corner and ran fast. I spotted men in black ahead of me. Confirmed.

“Turn left. I’m right behind you.”
I then saw a shadow turning the direction where I asked him. Now that he’s out of target and safe, I can do my stuff.

I pulled the gun from my back pocket and aimed it to the skinnier man in black. I pulled the trigger and he dropped down. The fat one saw me, of course and pulled out his gun. He tried to shot me but missed it. I was fast enough to take my revenge.

I made sure the bullet was going right through his heart. I pulled the trigger but unfortunately, I had no bullets left. . I’m trapped.

“You empty handed, kid?” He chuckled as he got me in a corner.

I stepped backward as he was in his forward ways. My brain is now battling. C’mon. I used to have brilliant escape plans in times like this. We’re in this dark alley, chasing each other in slow motion. He got his gun now, aiming at me.

Oh crap. As I took a step backward again, I felt something under my shoe. It was a stick, with a long rusty sharp nail attached to its end. Well, this could work. Before he could blow his pistol, I got his eye stabbed.

He screamed in pain while I laughed in victory.

“ER!”  I shouted and took his gun from his hand, ran away and searched for Dongwoon.
