Chapter 24 - Broken

She did call me. Twice. And she sent me two messages. I opened the first one.

‘Myungsoo. Let’s end this. I’m breaking up with you. I can’t keep up with you anymore. Thanks for your time anyway.’

‘And don’t come over anymore. I’ve decided to continue my studies in America so good luck to you. Bye’

I was just away for three days not knowing that she already broke up with me. What happened? Did I do something wrong?

I called her as I walked in circles.

“Yoboseyo?” She answered it with a deep voice that I barely recognized her.

“Sue Ji. I can’t understand. What’s happening? Tell me.” I said as I choked. There was a long silence before she spoke up.

“I told you already and don’t call me anymore. It’s completely annoying. Good riddance to you, Kim Myungsoo.” She said and ended the call.

I gripped on my phone hard until it broke to pieces in my bare hands. I tried so hard not to let a teardrop fall. I won’t let anything make me weak. Actually, it was my fault. I let my raging hormones carry me all throughout. I threw my broken phone in the bin and went out of my room.
