The Emotional Roller Coaster I Call Life With Super Junior

I grabbed him by the collar of his shirt. “Where’s Alex?!”

He smiled. “I sold her,” he said simply.

I hit him across the face. “Liar! WHERE’S ALEX?!”

“I had to find a way to split you two up! I figured that if she were gone, you’d quite rebelling! So I sold her!”

“Ha! You’re so ing stupid! SHE WAS THE ONLY THING KEEPING ME FROM KILLING YOU!”

“Yeah, obviously! Poor Eun Jo was the only one there for me take my anger ou—”

“DON’T YOU ING TOUCH HER!” I screamed, flying forward and pinning him down.

“UKI!”

About two people came up behind me, pulling me off of Tony.

“I’LL KILL YOU IF YOU HURT HER! DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME?! I’LL KILL YOU!” I continued shrieking as Siwon and Kyuhyun fought to pull me away.

“What is with all this yelling?!

I looked up to see Donghae standing there, his hair standing up in all directions. Aish, he was so cute!<3

“UKI?! WHAT HAPPENED?!” he exclaimed angrily, coming toward me and examining my newly-busted face.

“That’s not important,” I replied impatiently, hitting his hands away from my face.

“WHAT DO YOU MEAN NOT IMPORTANT?! WHY DIDN’T YOU WAKE ME UP?!” he yelled at me.

“Aiden Lee! I’m in the process of finding out where Alex is!”

His eyes widened as he asked quietly, “Wh…Where is she?”

I pushed past him and grabbed Tony by the shirt, dragging him to one of the rooms. “If you’ll excuse me for just one moment, I’m about to find out.”

Siwon’s POV~

Before any one of us could stop her, Uki shut and locked the door. I grinded my teeth. You honestly have no idea the anger I was feeling right now. Running out to see Uki on her knees, waiting to be shot, all in order to save us scared me senseless! I was so close to losing my baby sister! Damn. I should have just killed him already. WHY DID EUNHYUK AND ZHOU MI STOP ME?!

“DON’T ING PLAY GAMES! YOU HAVE TWO SECONDS TO ING TELL ME WHERE ALEX IS BEFORE I MURDER YOU!” I heard Uki screaming at the top of her lungs.

I smirked. Uki can take care of herself. She just lets her protective side get the best of her sometimes.

“CHOI JIWON! THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!” I heard my mother scream.

I turned to see Jiwon on her knees, sobbing at my parents’ feet, begging for forgiveness.

“I’m sorry, I’m sorry!” she sobbed. “I didn’t mean to let it slip! I didn’t mean to!”

“Your sister was almost killed this morning! How do you expect us to just forgive you for this, huh?!” my mom continued screaming.

Jiwon went silent. I shook my head at her. Jiwon wasn’t always like this. I remember when all three of us used to get along just fine. We actually acted like the dream siblings, always looking out for one another. What happened, man? What changed her?

Uki threw the door open, her fists re-bloodied. I winced slightly. Were mine like that, too? I looked down at mine and winced once again. Yeah, they were pretty bad, too.

“Did he tell you?” Donghae asked, a hopeful look entering his eyes.

She shook her head angrily, wrapping her hands in a wet cloth. “I’m gonna have to go back there after all,” she said in a low voice.

“Uki, you will do no such thing!” my mom screamed.

“Shh!” Uki shushed immediately. “There’s a chance that Alex is somewhere close to that building. I can find her. Just give me a week, and I guarantee you, I can find her. But…For the time being…” She let out an angry breath, allowing Donghae to carefully clean her hands for her while looking at me and the rest of our family. “We’re gonna have to let Tony go.”

“ARE YOU INSANE?!” I and all the other guys exclaimed.

“Uki, he nearly killed you!” I yelled at her. “Don’t be so stupid! If we hadn’t been able to break down the doors when he had, you’d be on the floor with a bullet in your head right now!”

The corners of pulled down in a slight frown. “This is my chance to end this once and for all. I’m tired of running and hiding. I’m taking things into my own hands now. I’ll give another day to recover, but I need to go back. Alex won’t last much longer.”

We were all silent, staring at one another in uncertainty. It seemed as though Uki’s mind was set. There was nothing else we could say or do to change her mind. I gulped, a feeling of fear expanding in the pit of my stomach. She was going back there. There was no telling what would happen to her. There was no one there to jump out and save her if Tony decided that he wanted to finish off what he’d started. But, seeing the fierce determination in Uki’s eyes, I knew that she was going to do all she could possibly to save not just Alex, but the other broken girls back in that place, the ones who’d lost all hope until Uki came into the picture. She was going to do all she could possibly do to save them.

Or die trying.

Uki’s POV~

Watching Tony walk out of the room with nothing more than a few cuts and bruises killed me inside. I wanted nothing more than to just flippin’ kill him on the spot, but I knew that in order for my plan to work, I couldn’t. He had to live. As the paramedics were tending to my wounds, forcing me to bandage myself up—I looked like a mummy after they were done with all the bandaging, -.-“—I was talking with the police about my plan, my family surrounding me.

“Here’s what’s gonna happen,” I said as one of the paramedic guys was removing the glass shards in my arm. “I’m going back there. You give me at least a week, but don’t you dare commit a raid until I say it’s a go, got it? As of right now, Tony’s on edge. There’s a huge chance that he could possibly kill me the moment he sees me again, but then again, he might not if I put up a good enough act. Surveillance is a must, but you better stay hidden. If they see a random car pop up the same time I randomly pop up, they’re gonna know somethin’s up.”

“Okay, how exactly are you planning on going back there? Just show up?” the head agent in charge of the operation asked.

I sighed. “I’ve been thinking about this for awhile now. I just haven’t been able to come up with a foolproof plan quite yet. I think the best way, though, is to do what I did last time. Go into town and hopefully run into them.”

“That’s leaving too much to chance. If you’re truly determined to go through with this absurd plan of yours—”

“Absurd?! I’d like to see you come up with something better! Within the three weeks I was there, two phone calls were made and you couldn’t track anything down?! I’m the not the stupid ones incapable of doing their jobs right!” I immediately shouted, giving them a glare.

They instantly shut their mouths, a deep blush creeping up their necks.

“Now, this could go either one of two ways. There could be an extreme amount of luck and I actually run into one of them while in the city, or I just go straight to the building and hope they don’t kill me. I’m hoping against hope that the first one will happen,” I said, wincing as the paramedic guy was still taking the glass shards out at a painstakingly slow rate.

“Or, you could call Troy and set up something with him,” a soft voice said.

I realized it was Jiwon who had spoken. I take back everything I said, man. She’s totally not my sister. The moment that that gun was put to my head, I completely and utterly disowned her. But I had to admit. I agreed with her.

“Are you freaking insane?!” Siwon yelled.

“No, no, oppa, she’s right,” I said, instantly calming him down. “I completely forgot that Troy was still there.”

“Who’s Troy?” the agent asked.

“My ex. He’s there, too. He’s been looking out for me this whole time, so I think he’s my best bet on staying alive when I go back. The thing is, I can’t just call him. Tony would have a close monitor on everything that’s happening by now.”

“Do you think he’d be that smart to think ahead?”

I sighed again. “Unfortunately, as stupid as he is, Tony’s not a complete idiot. He knows what he’s doing. He’s been running this thing for awhile now, so he knows the right strings to pull. Coming to the hotel while there are thirteen overly protective brothers, now that’s a stupid idea. But it was pretty well thought out, I must say. I never would have thought to melt the locks.”

I yelped in sudden pain, jumping at least a foot in the air. I looked at my arm to see blood freely flowing.

“Gah! Mianhe, mianhe!” the paramedic said, taking a towel and applying pressure on my arm.

I hissed in pain, grabbing hold of the closest hand and squeezing hard.

“Mianhe, Uki. That was a huge piece of glass,” he said, holding the glass shard about half the size of my hand up as if to prove his words as truth.

I nodded in approval, loosening the pressure on the hand. I looked to whose hand I’d just completely assaulted and quickly ducked my head at Zhou Mi. “Mianhe, oppa.”

He smiled at me. “It’s okay.”

“Uki…Please don’t go. Let the police handle this. If something goes down next time, I and the rest of the guys won’t be there to save you. He might actually finish the job he started,” Siwon said, giving me a pleading look.

I sighed. “I know. I’ve already thought about that. And I’ve decided that I’m gonna have to put my faith in Troy. As of right now, he’s my only hope of surviving once I go back so I needa hold onto whatever last sliver of hope I’ve got. Otherwise, I’ll turn into one of those other girls.”

Troy,” my mother spat disgustedly as if his name left a foul taste in . “I knew something was wrong between you two. All that time, I had my suspicions, but you were just so damn good and covering everything up! Why did you stay with him all those years?! What were you thinking?!”

I smiled and shook  my head sadly. “I don’t know mom. It was a silly little girl’s infatuation and I couldn’t bring myself to let it go.” I sighed heavily. “But that’s beside the point. The point is, he can keep me alive. He’s been doing so all this time and I have faith that he’ll continue doing so.”

She shook her head, clearly upset. “I don’t like the idea of you going back there. But you are my daughter after all, which means that I highly doubt anything we say or do from hereon will get you to change your mind about anything.”

I smiled. “I love how you know me so well. So the plan goes into effect tomorrow.”

“We’re gonna need a way to keep in touch with you while you’re there. How else are we supposed to know when to raid?” Agent Yi—I think that was his name?—said.

“Whatever it is you wanna give me, you better make it as small as an earring because if I get caught with any communication devices, I’ll die.”

“H…How’d you know?”

My eyes widened at the sight of the simple diamond studs he had in his hand. I don’t know what came over me, but the moment I saw them, I busted out into uncontrollable laughter.

Aish. When did my life become such a complicated Korean drama?
