Leeteuk’s POV~

As if one girl in the house wasn’t enough.

Now we have to deal with two?!

I wouldn’t have minded so much about Alex being a girl if she didn’t look so dang cute, but she does! That’s what upsets me! Half the house was already secretly arguing over Uki and now you throw in another cute girl into the mess?! That just can’t happen! Before I know it, all my boys are gonna be fighting over them!

Oh please. Like you can talk. You freaking got into a fight with Donghae over Uki!

I sighed. Well, Uki’s going out with Donghae now, and apparently Alex is going out with Hangeng? I couldn’t really tell. But if that’s the case, then hopefully the guys will calm down about it and not start up any fights. Which means I can’t fight with Donghae about Uki either. I already told myself to give up on her. I even told her that it wouldn’t work between us. Aish, this girl has me questioning my own words. Okay, it’s best to just forget about her. No more thinking about Uki.

Maybe if I tell myself that enough times, it’ll magically come true and I won’t cause any more trouble.

Donghae’s POV~

I quickly sprinted into the room, throwing the door open to see Uki sitting up in bed, the blanket bunched around her waist. She was coughing into her fist. Despite literally looking as if she were about to die, she waved me off when I tried to help her. After a few more seconds, she calmed down, and swallowed hard.

“Are you okay?!” I immediately asked worriedly.

“I-I’m fine,” she said in a dry voice.

I let out an exasperated breath. “You most certainly not fine. I think it’s time you go see a doctor.”

“No! I don’t like doctors. Honestly, Donghae, I’ll be fine.” She gave me a reassuring smile.

Her beautiful face.

The only thing that marred it was that damn bruise.

If I ever see her ex again, I’m gonna kill him. Troy, Trevor, Tray, whatever in the hell your name is, I’m gonna make you pay for hurting my poor Uki.

“C-can you get me a glass of water?” she asked me.

I nodded and quickly went back to the kitchen to get her a glass of water like she had requested.

“Is she okay?” Siwon asked, a worried look on his face.

I shook my head slightly and said, “She’s gotten progressively worse and she won’t see a doctor. So make a house call. Call Dr. Kim and tell him to get here as soon as he can.”

Siwon nodded as I headed back to the room, handing her the water. She thanked me and downed the water in one gulp.

“Do you want some ice for your bruise?” I asked.

The corners of pulled down in a slight frown as she nodded. “If you wouldn’t mind.”

I stopped down and kissed her cheek. “I wouldn’t mind at all.”

And taking the empty glass from her, I headed back to the kitchen and grabbed the ice pack from the freezer.

“I called him,” Siwon said, looking up at me from the table. “He said he’ll be here in about thirty minutes.”

I smiled and said, “I hope she doesn’t kill me for that.”

“What am I going to kill you for?” I heard a voice ask.

“Uki, you should be in bed!” I said, turning to see her leaning against the kitchen doorway in…Were those my PJ pants and T-shirt?! Aww! She was so cute!

“I was in bed when I heard you guys talking about me. And now I hear that I’m about to kill you for something? Lee Donghae, you better tell me what you did right now,” she said.

I laughed and kissed her forehead, handing her the icepack. “It’s nothing, alright? Now go to sleep.”

She grumbled at me and iced her face, shuffling back to the room. But I’m actually pretty sure that she headed to my room instead of hers.

“Oh, Uki, one more thing!” Siwon said before she completely disappeared from view.

She turned back. “Mhm?”

“Mom and Dad called me the other day. They said that they’re gonna swing by here for your birthday before heading back home,” he said.

She nodded and said, “Awesome. Come to celebrate another year when I’m closer to twenty.”

I laughed at her. “You’re not old, Uki.”

“I might as well be ancient!” she responded with a pout.

“Heechul and I are almost thirty! You have nothing on us!” Leeteuk said with a laugh.

Uki laughed at him. “You’re right Teukie. I’ve got quite a ways to go to catch up with you guys.”

Everyone was laughing at them, teasing Leeteuk and Heechul for their age. I hugged her and said, “Don’t worry, you’re not old.”

She laughed and looked at Siwon. “Is there anything else you wanted to tell me before I go and pass out for the rest of the day?”

“Um…Other than the doctor is gonna be here in about thirty minutes, not really,” he said, but somehow, I knew he was lying. Somethin’ else was on his mind, but he just wasn’t saying.

Uki let out a sigh. “You should know that doctors and lawyers don’t mix well.” And with that, she walked off and headed to my room.

After I made sure she was out of ear shot, I turned to Siwon. “Okay, what’s the big secret? What else is going on?”

Siwon sighed. “Big secret?” He paused and looked at everybody else and sighed again. “My parents are swinging by Cambridge to pick Jiwon up, too. Prepare for all hell to break loose and WWIII to erupt, guys, ‘cause I know it’s comin’.”
