Luhan took a deep breath as he entered the school. Today was his first day here, and he wanted to make a good impression. He walked to the office, and he followed his new homeroom teacher to his new classroom. This is it, he thought. 

"You guys have a new student today," the teacher said. "Introduce yourself."

"Hi, my name's Luhan," he said with his slightly accented Korean. "Please treat me well."

"Okay, can we have Soojung haksaeng (student) take him around the school?" the teacher asked.

"Yes, I will," Soojung replied respectfully.

"You can sit in that empty seat besides Minwoo," the teacher said to Luhan. He nodded and went to his new seat.

Class went by quickly, and soon it was lunch time. Luhan was unsure what to do and where to go, so he remained in his seat until most of the students left.

"Uh, Luhan?"

Luhan looked up to see someone standing in front of him. She's kind of cute, he thought. "Yes?"

"It's lunchtime. I can take you around the school after we eat. You can eat with my friends and me. They're all really nice," Soojung said.

"Okay, thank you," Luhan said. He followed after her to the cafeteria. Soojung showed him where they get their lunch and then took him to their usual spot.

"Hey guys, this is a new student in our class. My teacher told me to take him around," Soojung said as they sat down.

"Hi, I'm Eunmi!" Soojung's best friend said.

"I'm Xiumin," the guy next to Soojung said.

"And I'm Sehun. Nice to meet you," Sehun said.

"I'm Luhan," Luhan said.

Xiumin and Sehun did their best to get Luhan to open up. The group got to know him more, and Sehun found out he had a lot in common with Luhan. Soojung was glad that the new kid got along with her friends.

They soon finished their lunch. "I have to go show him around the school," Soojung said. "See you later, guys!"

"Bye!"

With that, Soojung led Luhan and took him on a brief tour of the school.

"Here's the music room, and right next to it is the art room. You'll have to take either one to finish your art credits," Soojung informed.

"What are you taking?" Luhan asked.

"Vocal. I like to sing," Soojung confessed. 

Luhan's eyes widened. "I'm thinking about taking that too," he said.

"Oh, you should! It's a lot of fun," she replied.

He nodded, but for some reason he was really curious on what she sounded like. He could already tell by her sweet voice that she was good at singing.

He then shook that thought away and followed Soojung around.

At five o'clock, the last class was finally over for the day. Luhan was cleaning up his belongings before he left the classroom.

He walked out and was about to go home when he thought about Soojung. I forgot to thank her for today, he realized. Maybe I'll thank her tomorrow, he thought.

He was just about to leave when he passed by the music room. He heard a girl singing, and he had to pause to admire the beautiful voice. I wonder who's singing, he thought. He quietly opened the door a bit to peek in when he saw Soojung.

Oh, that's what she sounds like when she sings, he thought. For some reason, hearing her singing made his heart flutter. Her soft, emotional voice was so nice to hear, and he wished he could hear it everyday.

Soon, she stopped singing, and he realized she was about to leave. The moment she walks out, she would notice him secretly watching her. He didn't want to seem like a stalker or anything, so he quickly walked away and pretended he wasn't just listening to her moments before. He was just about to leave the school when he heard a high-pitched voice scream.

"Yah! Lee Soojung!" the voice said.

Confused, Luhan looked back. He saw three girls surrounding Soojung. And just by looking at them from the back, he could tell that they were angry. What is this? he thought.

The girl in the center, named Seungjung, glared at Soojung. "Didn't I warn you before? Why are you still hanging out with Sehun Oppa?" she asked angrily.

"Seungjung-ah, you know that he's just a friend of mine," Soojung said. By the tone of her voice, she was a bit intimidated by the three angry looking girls glaring at her.
