Talking with Youngbae
Starting Over
Youngbae drove back to his dorm. He opened the door surprised to see Jiyong and Seungri playing video games.
“Hyung you are back!” Seungri greeted his eyes not leaving the TV screen.
Jiyong looked at Youngbae judging his expression.
“I spend the day with Marge.” Youngbae said and sat on the sofa.
“How was it?” Jiyong asked curiously.
“It was fun I had a great time.” Youngbae said and sigh.
“Hyung, you want to play?” Seungri asked Youngbae.
“What about you?” He asked.
“I want to go out! Can I go out now hyung? Youngbae hyung is here already.” Seungri said.
Youngbae looked at Jiyong.
Jiyong let out a nervous laugh. “Yah! What are you implying? That I am preventing you to leave?” Jiyong said defensively.
“Well, you…” he got cut off by Jiyong when he threw a pillow at him.
“Yah, go if you want to leave!” Jiyong said.
“Come on Bae, let’s play!” Jiyong said and pulled Youngbae.
Seungri grinned and left to change as fast as he can before his hyung change his mind.
“Why were you waiting for me?” Youngbae asked.
“Ani, I was bored upstairs so I decided to visit you guys down here, turns out you went out.” Jiyong made up an excuse.
“Hyung I will be leaving!” Seungri said excitedly and left.
“Aish that punk.” Jiyong said laughing. “So how was your date with noona?” Jiyong asked.
“It was fine.” Youngbae said, his tone sad.
Jiyong knew this was his cue, he turned to look at Youngbae.
“Why? What is wrong?” Jiyong asked pausing the game.
“Ji, I am letting her go, I can’t possibly ask her to stay.” Youngbae said.
“Huh? But why?” Jiyong asked.
“Come on Ji, don’t lie to me, I know sajangnim told you that is why you came here. It is two years, I will be working on my music, I won’t have enough time to spend with her, I don’t want her to regret staying here.” Youngbae said.
