Clara: I recently went on a trip that had lasted a month. After being away for so long from my boyfriend, I surprised him by coming to his house. Expecting him to be happy, he gave me a cold attitude, like he didn't even know who I was. He told me that he was busy that day, and said that we would have to meet up another day. The odd thing was, I had specifically asked his Mom to keep in the house just for that day.
This 'attitude'lasted for about a week. Eventually, I talked to his friends and asked them why he was acting like this. They told me that he thought that I cheated on him during the trip.I was confused, we both trusted each other completely.
I confronted him about the situation and he denied thinking that I cheated. How am I supposed to 'de-jerkify' him? /:

Guys are some complicated beings let me tell you. One minute they’re happy around us and then the next minute it’s as if they went through war. Although, us girls aren’t any better :P From what you’re telling me, it seems like you guys have just gone through a bit of a misunderstanding. Have no fear, you can solve this mess and clear up this situation(:

Believe it or not, no matter how confident a guy may seem he will always have those little doubts. Perhaps that was one of the reasons your boyfriend thought that you were cheating on him. Try to talk to him and ask why he thought of such a thing or rather, why his friends told you such a misunderstanding. If he denies it then maybe it’s something else that has been clouding up his thoughts, Your best option is to sit down and try to communicate with one another properly. Try and figure out why he’s suddenly become so distant and work it out(:

Another case may be a surprise. Maybe with the holidays coming up, he’s busy trying to prep something for the two of you ;]

Another option that might be the case (this is highly unlikely but it is still an option) is that he may want to break up. Sometimes a guy doesn’t have a good enough reason to break up so he makes one up – this case being the fact that you “cheated on him.” Although this is probably not the case, and you have no reason to overthink and start crying, this is just my opinion.

However, this is probably just a huge misunderstanding and the two of you need to work this out like any other couple should. After all, the new year is just around the corner and I’m sure he’ll want to spend some time with a very special someone ;]
