KJJLOVER26: Hi. I just want to know if this guy likes me.  We both like K-Pop and we're both a SONE. He once made an account for k-pop only and he used a korean name.  Wanting to be unique, I started calling him by the combination of his real name and that korean name.  From now on, he kept on using the name I gave him.  He also likes to tease me a lot but sometimes, it's sarcastic and annoying. -___- In a k-pop event, I introduced my other SONE friend to him in the hopes that they'll be close since they're both from the same fandom.  He just waved and pinched my cheeks for a very long time, ignoring my friend.  My friend even told me that that guy likes me and ofc, I just said no.  In the most recent event we saw each other, he called me just to say that he's leaving his dorm and on his way to the place where the event will be held. He always see me first actually, lol.  When we met, he put his hands in my shoulder but he quickly removed it.  I kept on pestering him that he should buy a TVXQ merch for me LOL. Before I went home with my friends, I saw him already but I didn't call him.  We stayed in a place near them bc my friend is going to do something.  After a minute, I saw him walking casually in front of me (it's obvious it's on purpose) so I kicked his leg (brutal i know) and then told him where's my merch and then said I'll go home already.  We had a picture and my friends kept on telling me (again lol) that we're so close and he likes me. So yeah, what do you think? lol thank you~

Guys are always confusing and we girls are no different. You’re stuck in a situation where he’s pretty much giving you mixed signals, am I right? But don’t worry, figuring out whether he’s being friendly or flirty can be easier than you think(:

It seems like you guys are pretty good friends where you’d give each other nicknames, buy each other gifts, etc. Just because he’s using the Korean name you picked out for him, doesn’t mean “Woah, he likes me!” Maybe he could have just grown really fond of the name and prefers to be called that instead(:

If he’s usually teasing you and uses sarcasm, then all of those things he’s doing to you shouldn’t be a red flag. It really shows that you guys are great friends since you seem so comfortable around one another (ex. You freely kicking him LOL). It’s a good thing to be open with one another and hold nothing back(:

Just because your friends say he likes you, doesn’t mean it’s true. Can they read his mind? Of course not, so why believe them about this? Friends always overreact when someone acts just a tad bit too friendly with someone, in this case you and your guy friend. Just tell them that the two of you are messing around and you always tease each other. They might still tease you but at least they’ll get that you and him are definitely not an item. If the two of you know that nothing’s going on, then it shouldn’t be a problem.

One of the biggest reasons friendships between a guy and girl end is because of misunderstandings. So many of the times, one of the friends thinks the other one likes them more than a friend or has a crush on them. Please don’t ruin a friendship because of that KJJLOVER26. Just because your friend is open around you and doesn’t hold back, doesn’t necessarily mean that he’s head over heels in love with you. It just goes to show that you two are good enough friends to act like yourselves around one another(:
