Being a gifted person in the craft of art is a lot of hard work. With people discrediting its purpose and with a practical society, crossing its boundary towards a happy life can only be accomplished by brain and by heart.

“Sajangnim~” An angelic secretary came inside the office.

“Yes, Chaewon?” She turned her seat around to greet her. “Any updates on the schedule?”

Chaewon presented a schedule and watched as her CEO read its contents.

“Brilliant!” She clapped. “Have the cameras ready. We’ll go to the fansign in a few hours.”

“As much as I want to, Sajangnim, I can’t.” Chaewon sighed. “I have a photoshoot for a wedding.”

“Alright. You’re excused.” The CEO nodded. “I’ll bring you a picture of Minju.”

Chaewon bowed and went out of the office, leaving the CEO to call another person. Within a few rings, she got an answer.

What is it this time, Chaeyeon?

“Prosecutor Choi~” Chaeyeon chanted as she got a laugh from the other line. “Heard of the fansign in Daegu?”

Alright. Bring an extra camera and pick me up at the courthouse after my session.

Chaeyeon agreed and hung up. She grabbed her bag, filling it with equipment and extra clothing. Once she finished packing, she got out of her office, greeting the employees as they pass by and getting bows and greetings in return.

She went inside a washroom and changed her business attire to something more casual. As she finished changing herself, she got to the mirrors, tied her hair and wore a mask and a cap.

“Where are you off to, Sajangnim?” An employee got inside and washed her hands.

“I’m off to a fansign in Deagu, Kwangbae.” Chaeyeon answered. “Take care of the company for me, okay?”

“Alright.” Hyewon nodded. “Only for fansigns. You also need to report to work and become a role model to the employees.”

Chaeyeon gave a thumbs-up before leaving. “I’ll also send you a picture of Eunbi.”

Chaeyeon drove her car towards the Choi law firm, the most famous firm in all of Seoul. Despite being ran by only two female attorneys, they were a duo that always defended for the right and won every case they had. And in the case of Chaeyeon, she had one of them become her official lawyer for her company.

“Yoojung-nim!” Chaeyeon greeted her.

“Good day, Miss Lee.” Yoojung greeted back, her eyes and fingers idle in typing. “Yena’s doing her so please have a seat.”

“Very funny, Yoojung.” Yena came just of the bathroom already changed from her business attire to a simple shirt, jogging pants and, sneakers. “All set!”

“Be back at 5. We have an appointment with a client at the time and you need to be present,” said Yoojung. 

“Don’t worry, Yoojung-nim. I’ll bring her back in pieces.” Chaeyeon joked, getting a laugh from Yoojung and nudge from Yena.

The duo bid their farewell and went to Chaeyeon’s car. As they hopped in and drove to Daegu, Yena asked. “Does the company know we’re coming?”

“Yeah. Kaeun-unnie reserved us a spot backstage and gave us a chance to talk to the idols at the end of the fansign.” Chaeyeon spoke and pointed at a camera and a press ID.

Yena puts on the ID and checked the camera. They arrived at Daegu in less than an hour and arrived at the venue. Chaeyeon got her car parked and she and Yena went backstage to meet the organizer.

It was Chaeyeon’s cousin, Lee Kaeun.

“Unnie~” Chaeyeon hi-fived the taller then looked at the venue. “Heol…we’re here early.

“We meant to do that. That way, you can be on the first line and meet the idols with the rest of the fans.” Kaeun said.

Chaeyeon and Yena cheered and got to their seats, adjust their cameras’ settings while talking to Kaeun. Soon, more fans arrived and got to their seats as the staff prepared. Chaeyeon got their cameras ready, just as much as the other fansites were. Later, Kaeun was up front as the MC for the fansign.

“Good day, Hushers.” She began as the fans cheered. “Thank you the wait. Our idols are finally here and without further ado, I welcome the best girl group of all time: HUSH!”

Six members got up front to greet the fans. All of them cheered and had their cameras taking their pictures. Chaeyeon and Yena were composed unlike the rest as they were more focused on taking pictures.

HUSH was a six-member girl group famous for their girl crush concepts, with the fans called Hushers. The members were Kwon Eunbi, Miyawaki Sakura, Yabuki Nako, Kim Minju, Jo Yuri, and Ahn Yujin.

“Yuri, I love you!” Yena cheered while taking her picture.

Chaeyeon laughed as she took pictures of each member. But among them, there was her ultimate bias that had a lot of pictures of, to the point that she prepared five memory cards in case they get full.

“Miyawaki Sakura, daisuki!” Chaeyeon joined Yena’s antic as she maintained her pose and clicks.

HUSH’s fansign was a blast. There were tons of requests, fun times, and little events to which the fans participated in. Everyone had a blast doing stuff but for Chaeyeon and Yena? They were always busy taking pictures.

“Chae! I’m running out of memory!” Yena nudged. “Can I borrow a memory card?”

“It’s in my bag.” Chaeyeon pointed. “Only one, okay?”

“Please. You’re a CEO of a news outlet, a studio, and a store that sells photography equipment.” Yena added. “You can wipe your with those five memory cards.”

The two switched to video mode as HUSH performed their title song. Chaeyeon even switched her DSLR to a camcorder to capture the performance, especially Sakura. She was proud of her work and ogled at how Sakura looked so pretty.

The performance ended and the members returned to their seats. Chaeyeon and Yena took a break since it was time for the album signing.

“A gift from me to you.” Chaeyeon got two albums from her bag and gave one to Yena. “Don’t forget the post-its for the members.”

“Thanks, buddy.” Yena grinned and pulled her up. “We’re first so lezgaw~”

Chaeyeon and Yena got to the line and were greeted by Eunbi. Chaeyeon went first to have her album signed as Yena followed with the rest of the fans. They never skipped a member and delivered their messages and requests in a proper manner, leaving the group to have a good impression with the duo.

Chaeyeon had the nick to take the members’ pictures. But of course, all of that was saved when she finally got to the end of the line was face to face with her bias.

“Omo~ you’re FeatherChaeyeon-nim~” Sakura cheered. “I’m glad to see you again.”

This was never new to Chaeyeon. Ever since HUSH debuted, she always attended their fansign events, their concerts, and their participation in shows. With her work, however, it was limited to participating fansign events. 

“Yes. Hello again, Sakura-ssi~” Chaeyeon said and presented her album.

Sakura sighed and wrote her message to her favorite fan and fansite. Chaeyeon used the time to take pictures and adore her idol. Sakura would look and pose cutely for her.

“Thank you~. I hope to see you again~” Sakura said and waved.

“Me too, Sakura-ssi.” Chaeyeon spoke. “Can I take one more picture?”

Sakura agreed and did poses as Chaeyeon took pictures. She even stopped to laugh as Yena groveled in front of a laughing Yuri. Everyone joined them in laughter before Yena took Yuri’s picture and got to Sakura.

Chaeyeon went back to her seat like a happy kid. She got good pictures, got her album signed, and got to see Sakura up close. Even if she did that since the group’s debut, she was never fed up in seeing her idols, especially her bias.

“I finally got a fully signed album~” Yena skipped to Chaeyeon’s side. “Yuri even answered my post-it.”

“Nice, nice!” Chaeyeon complimented as she checked her camera’s memory. “How much memory to do you have left?”

“I still have 20 GB.” Yena spoke. “Let’s take more pictures?”

“Let’s take more pictures.” Chaeyeon concluded and took photos together.

HUSH were in their dorm doing the usual routines. With their success come the fruits of their labor through a week-off.

Eunbi was reading books, Minju was crocheting a stuffed frog, Nako was feeding her pet bird, Yuri was scrolling her phone, and Sakura was using her PC. Currently, Sakura was logging in a fansite’s webpage. She adored the pictures the user had, especially the pictures of her.

FeatherChaeyeon was her codename. According to a survey, she was the best Sakura fansite there is. The fans loved her photos for its less trace of whitewashing and for its high quality. It was commonly used on fan content, wallpapers, and video edits.

“Daebak~ those are cool pictures of us, unnie.” Yuri had a look. “I also look this fansite. It’s Ori.”

Sakura also took a look at that fansite and had high quality pictures with warmer tones. It had the group and other members’ pictures but it had more pictures of Yuri.

“FeatherChaeyeon’s the best Sakura fansite while Ori’s the best Yuri fansite.” Minju spoke and joined them in surfing the pictures. “Ah…I miss Ssamu.”

“That’s the best fansite of you, right?” Yujin asked as they nodded. “Ah…even Wonie’s on hiatus.”

“Lucky you four for having good fansites.” Eunbi said. “I only had one yet it closed for good.”

“But you have other fansites, unnie. All of us do.” Nako added. “But maybe that was the best for you. Bbang was also gone.”

The members sighed. Eunbi averted the topic by turning on the TV, showing the news in the business industry.

Today’s talk is about the CEO of LCY Studio, Miss Lee Chaeyeon.

All of them had their reactions, especially Sakura. They rubbed their eyes, wondering if the said person on TV was also the good photographer.

At the age of 22, Lee Chaeyeon took the multimedia industry to a storm of photography and videography. Owning major businesses in the said industry, she was a sensation in the craft of commercial arts.

“Daebak…no wonder she was good in taking pictures.” Nako added.

“No way! She also owns Yongin Broadcasting Center (YBC)!” Minju gasped. “Aren’t we gonna be there for a future photoshoot?!”

They all had reactions again. For Sakura, she was really honored that her most famous fansite was actually a CEO, especially of the fact that they’ll meet each other soon.

A pound kept coming in Sakura’s chest as her excitement grew of an opportunity to work with her favorite fan.

Chaeyeon slumped on her workstation after finishing an edited picture during HUSH’s fansign in Daegu. Despite her tired body, she was still happy to put an effort in her hobbies and work. 

Chaeyeon looked at her calendar and realized that she was going to be part of a photoshoot at YBC. With the late time, she decided to call it a day and turn in. She saved her work and turned off her PC. She went to her large bed and grabbed her phone, checking HUSH’s fancafé.

The latest topic was discussed by Sakura. It showed her PC looking at a fansite’s work and approving. Seeing her watermark, Chaeyeon squealed for she was noticed by her idol.

Her phone was tossed by her bedside but luckily, it was as soft as her heart. Chaeyeon finally slept as her mind and heart welcome another day.

HUSH have arrived at YBC, wowing at the state-of-the-art facilities, especially their set. One of their employees greeted them and the group almost stumbled yet greeted back with grace and dignity.

“Good day, HUSH. I’m one of YBC’s producers Jang Wonyoung. At your service.” She shook hands with the members, with a longer handshake for Yujin. “Big fan.”

Yujin was honored and bowed a lot. Once Wonyoung went to greet their manager, Yujin was blushing while her members cooed at her. However, their fun had to stop as more staff arrived. HUSH greeted all of them and the staff greeted them back. It was then that all of them lined up and made a pathway as their leader got inside. She wore a simple shirt, pants and shoes but her prowess filled the studio that the staff bowed in a 90-degree angle. HUSH joined them – although more slant and many – as she greeted with a smile.

“Manager-nim.” Chaeyeon shook her hand. “Pleasure to see you.” She the shook the members’ hands. “HUSH. Nice to see you too. Big fan.”

The flattery intensified as they got to the resting area to wait while Chaeyeon assigned her staff to quicken the pace of their work. Chaeyeon picked her five most skilled subordinates and they explained the process to the group.

For today, they will do a photoshoot and a commercial shoot for a camera brand. Each member will be assigned to one subordinate who will produce the photos and videos. The members were excited – even Yuri was happy that Yena was assigned to her.

In the case of Chaeyeon and Sakura, the two were the most excited. 

“Sakura-ssi, please come with me.” Chaeyeon spoke and went to another set. 

Sakura followed suit with ten more staff behind her. Sakura was then sent to the dressing room with two stylists and to makeup artists to prepare her for the shoot. Chaeyeon went to the main PC to prepare the software and her camera while assigning the staff to prepare the lighting and the other cameras.

Sakura was ready, wearing a school uniform. Chaeyeon thought she was gorgeous. She then told Sakura to stay at the center and pose while holding a camera replica. Chaeyeon was serious in checking the lighting, the angles – even how Sakura should pose.

One cameraman wasn’t that good so Chaeyeon took her place and shot the photos. And for Sakura’s case, she puts more effort into posing properly because Chaeyeon was taking a picture of her. 

“Good! Good!” Chaeyeon finished taking the photos and lets the staff edit it. 

Sakura returned to the dressing room to change into another set of clothes. Chaeyeon’s eyes were on the screen as the photo was edited. Sakura returned wearing a gown and boy, was Chaeyeon whipped again?

“Duo pic with the lovely Yuri.” Yena arrived while escorting Yuri wearing the same dress.

“You’ll be taking their photos, Yena.” Chaeyeon handed her camera. “And make sure not to shake your hands.”

Yena nodded and took the pictures. Chaeyeon always had an eye on the poses and Sakura and Yuri took note. In their minds, they ogled on how their fansites worked. It was just the case for the latter as they try not to ogle on how beautiful the two looked.

“Done. Great job, girls.” Yena gave a thumbs-up.

“May we see our pictures, Chaeyeon-nim? Yena-nim?”

“Of course, of course!!” Yena agreed as she got two chairs for them to sit on.

Sakura and Yuri sat by Chaeyeon’s sides and watched her edit the pictures. With every adjustment, they were impressed.

“Yena, you’ll edit the rest of Yuri’s pictures. Use Chaewon’s PC.” Chaeyeon said as she handed a memory card.

Yena nodded and went, with Yuri coming with her to see how she edits. Sakura and Chaeyeon laughed as Chaeyeon started to edit Sakura’s solo pictures. She even tasked one of the staff to buy them lunch and to help the rest with the other shoots. 

Chaeyeon and Sakura were left in their set, creating a palpable yet romantic tension. 

“Chaeyeon-nim, thank you for always supporting us…for always supporting me.”

Chaeyeon froze. Sakura lowered her head and smiled, a slight blush creeping on her features. “I’m really happy that you’re always in attendance in every fansign. Also, I love your photos.”

Chaeyeon never thought being personally credited by her idol was a dream come true, that amid her successful career, her idol had more impact in creating her happiness that the success she made for herself.

“A pleasure, Sakura-san.” Chaeyeon smiled. “All done. What do you think?”

Sakura checked each one and loved all of them. “These are beautiful.”

“I can give you copies if you want.”

“It’s fine, Chaeyeon-nim. I can get them from your page.” Sakura spoke then winked.

Chaeyeon adored her – probably because Sakura didn’t wink successfully. Sakura felt embarrassed. “Ah…that was my fanservice to you.”

Chaeyeon approved the service, just in time for Yena and Yuri to call them for the food was here. Chaeyeon and Sakura decided to follow them.

The shoots were successful. As a token of gratitude for their opportunities, the staff and the idols had dinner, courtesy of Chaeyeon’s treat. With the dinner came new friendships, a chance of future collaborations, and revelations that shocked the idols.

“You’re Ssamu?!” Minju gasped at a nodding Chaewon. “I really loved your photos of me.”

“I had to close my fansite, Minju-ssi. I was studying and working for Chaeyeon-nim here.” Chaewon pointed.

“She was supposed to come with me during the Daegu fansign but she was doing a photoshoot for a wedding.”

“And you, Wonie-nim…” Yujin pouted. “How could you close your fansite?”

“Same reason with Chaewon-nim,” said Wonyoung.

“Bbang, you were my favorite fansite~” Nako whined.

“I focus on video editing now. I have your fancams in every performance compiled in one video.” Hitomi assured her. 

“What about you, Hyewon-ssi?” Eunbi asked. “Why did you stop? Back in the day, you were my only fansite.”

Hyewon stopped eating and maintained her composure. “I got busy being this woman’s right-hand.” She pointed her spoon at Chaeyeon. “I fill in her work when she goes to your fansigns.”

“Which is why the four of you will return to being fansites.” Chaeyeon proposed as HUSH cheered. “It’ll be part of our work incentive.”

“You can do that, Chaeyeon-nim?” Yuri asked.

“She owns YBC and other businesses. Of course, she can do that.” Yena added. 

HUSH and the rest of the staff applauded for the idea. The staff even volunteered to help and Chaeyeon acknowledged that. HUSH thought that YBC was an awesome broadcasting center.

And for the case of Sakura, she couldn’t help but feel whipped towards its CEO.

YBC’s staff and HUSH (together with their manager) bowed at each other for today’s schedule. The staff went back to work to clean the place up whereas Chaeyeon and her league of fansites escorted the group to their vehicle and even waved as they left.

“Chaeyeon-nim~ you have a note stuck to your back.” Yena spoke as she got the note.

The rest of the fansites returned to work as Chaeyeon wondered about the note. She looked at Yena and saw a note by her back. “You have one too, idiot.”

The two read them and it shocked the out of them.

Chaeyeon and Yena looked at each and excused themselves. As they got inside the comfort room, they hugged each other and squealed.

Ah…the things you feel as a fan and the efforts you do for your idols…
