Jaejoong POV

I explained what happened to my manager. Yes, he flipped out listening to Reya’s plan. But calmed down when I told him that I’ll leave America next week. So I’m officially a guardian of Heyri. I needed to get to know her, but she doesn’t let it happen. So off to option 2; ask Nathan and Reya about her. Speaking of that girl, Reya will leave tomorrow to Seattle to settle things there and will be back a day before I leave. Coming back home after a stroll around the neighbourhood I saw Nathan. Realising that I know nothing about him I asked

“So Nate, what do you do?”

“I’m a dancer. A choreographer actually.” Turning to me he continued. “I actually auditioned for one of your agencies, I’m waiting for a reply. If it works, I might have to move to Korea.”

“Then what bout Heyri…”

“Yeah, that’s what I’m also thinking. I know Laura and Reya are there for her. And you’ll hopefully come back soon, but I’m her uncle. I don’t know.”

“Well, don’t worry. We’ll find a way.” Looking for her, I asked “Where’s Reya?”

“Explaining the situation to her parents. They’re freaking out.”

 Obviously! Will any parent will like their daughter look after someone else’s child before she’s married? Is she even dating anyone? What about her boyfriend then?

“So, is she in a relationship?” I sat on the sofa.

“Nope. Just mentally dating celebrities.” I laughed. “Well, she’s still young. Has all the time in the world.”

“Yeah.” I agreed.

At that time Reya came downstairs and crashed onto the couch, sleeping on Nathan’s lap.

“I hate my mom.” She pouted. I found it cute. She always acts like a kid around him.

“Stop saying that Ray.”

“After all I’ve put up with her madness, she yelled at me when I told that I’m resigning the job and moving back here. Bad mommy. I’m not sending her chocolates this time. I’m so eating her share.”

“You really are a food monster Reya-ssi.” Turning to me, she sat upright.

“I don’t eat that much. I’m uncontrollable only with ice cream and chocolates!” She reasoned pouting again. Aww she’s really adorable. I like her cute chubby cheeks.

Unknown to me Heyri was standing next to me. She pulled me by the ear shocking me and the rest.

“Sophie stop it!” Nathan yelled.

Startled by him, she gripped my ear harder and let go. I winced in pain. No one has ever done that to me. Why am I being tormented by a kid? Why?!

“Why did you do that?” Nathan came to her, scooting to her level.

“Ajushi called Ray a monster. Bad ajushi.” She turned to me. “Bad ajushi.” She scolded me in Korean and sat next to Reya.
