Author POV

Jaejoong came home after volunteering to shop for groceries. But he had the shock of his life once he opened the door.

Nine boys filled the hall, laughing, pushing each other and watching the television. But Jaejoong turned hawk eye finding one boy- Zhang Yixing.

Good- he’s sitting on the chair, not with Reya.

Bad- Heyri is sitting on his lap.

Jaejoong’s grip on the bag tightened. He was ready to skin Reya alive for letting them into the place.

“Hyung” Suho was the first to stand up and greet him. Jaejoong smiled in return. “I’m sorry for barging in. We’re leaving tomorrow so we came to see Reya.”

“Is that so?” How the hell are they close to her too? Jaejoong hid his growing frown, all thanks to his acting skills.

Where is this idiot?! He searched for Reya.

“Excuse me Suho I’ll keep the stuff in the kitchen and be back”

There she was biting her lip again. Reya didn’t know what to do. She knew Jaejoong wouldn’t be happy with EXO in the place. Looking at him, she was sure she will be dead meat.

“Stop biting that lip Ray it’ll bleed in this rate” Jaejoong kept the bags on the table and walked to her.

Her lip biting only worsened with the sudden increase in her heartbeat. Jaejoong, adding coal to her fire, walked to her to touch her lips.

“See, it’s nearly red.”

Reya stared at him, trying hard not to flinch at his touch. She gripped the hem of her t-shirt and maintained eye contact with the Korean male who was busy inspecting her apparently red lips, brushing his fingers over her aching skin generating jolts of electric sparks within her. Ever since their flirtatious behaviour she makes sure to stay aloof whenever Jaejoong is around.

Why is that so?

Because she liked what he did to her. She loved his sweaty body close to her, his mischievous eyes staring at her. She liked it when he held her hand and pulled her to him in front of Yixing. He is driving her thoughts crazy and she loves it.

Jaejoong looked at her since she wasn’t replying. She kept staring at him, something she’s been doing a lot these days. Crap, we’re too close. The memory of him kissing her flashed before his eyes. His breath quickened. He immediately stepped away but she was still frozen, recovering from her pacing heart. Jaejoong cleared his throat, playing with an orange and she broke from her daze.

While the two were trying to break the sudden awkwardness, Baekhyun was standing at the door frame, watching them. Yixing had admitted his feelings and they were here to inspect how close Jaejoong and Reya are. To their fright, the both of them are very close. The child showed her new friends photos of her two parents, making sure to tell that the tab belongs to Jaejoong. Baekhyun couldn’t help but suspect why he has many photos of Reya, especially the more recent ones. Since they were taking a long time Sehun, Kai and Chanyeol stood to go the Baekhyun. Kai gasped but immediately covered his mouth

“They’re not kissing. Just frozen in an awkward position” Baekhyun explained and turned to the hall.

The other three remained in their positions.

“So, you served some drinks for them?”  Jaejoong looked briefly at the flustered Reya, controlling his sudden pacing heart.

“Nope. The moment they arrived, Sehun was annoying the hell outta me. Kai then pulled my laptop and nearly checked my stuff. See? My top is completely crushed!” She showed pulled the cloth forward. Jaejoong was simply processing what she was telling, stating at her redden lips that were strangely affecting him. “Chen pulled me to him and Xiumin stated pinching my cheeks. I thought Chanyeol was saving me from them but he got all touchy asking me to come to Korea and the Suho smacked his head.” He finally looked at her green tshirt.

Oh he was planning on poisoning their drinks.

“This idiot Lay was simply playing with Soph. And then Baek turned detective” He shut .

No, he didn’t kiss her. But he covered her wound with his inner palm. Reya was back to staring at the idol, completely confused as to why he is behaving too protective of her lately. Jaejoong is angry, mostly jealous as to how the boys mingled into Reya’s life faster than he did. He wanted to be the only idol in her life, hell even the only man in her life. Jaejoong, though playful on stage, is easily heart broken. Especially is someone he cares about focusses on someone else except for him. Lately Reya has been distancing herself from him and it hurted him. Worse, he considers Reya like some snowflake that he had to protect at all times. Now that these boys are acting like they own her, he is annoyed.

“Ray, I’m thirsty!” Sehun yelled uncomfortable at how close Jaejoong and Reya are.

“I’ll give you poison Oh Sehun!” Ray pulled Jaejoong’s hand away and yelled at him.

Jaejoong smirked in victory once she yelled precisely what he was planning on doing to them.

He helped out Reya to serve the drinks (no, they weren’t poisoned, yet). Each of them introduced themselves to Jaejoong who carried Heyri in his arms. Reya stood beside him.

“Hyung don’t stand this close to Ray. You look like a real family” Sehun blurted out what the others were thinking.

Reya moved away, though Jaejoong didn’t like it, closer to Chanyeol. He being overly fond of her, pulled her to make her sit on his lap.
