“Can we not go home?” I turned to her. She hesitantly looked back at me and immediately laid her eyes on the cup, playing with the straw.

Why can’t she just open up? I might be able to help her!

“It’s late Reya. Where do you want to go anyways?”

“I don’t know.” She sighed “Somewhere not close to Nate”

I don’t understand. I seriously don't. Why Nathan now? Did he tell something to her? Was that why she is upset?

No, he'll never want to hurt her.

I drove ahead hesitating to give my proposition. But since there is no better place, I asked

“Wanna crash at my place?”

“If it’s ok with you only”

Ok with me? I’m waiting for the day she decides to leave her friend and come to me!

I changed lanes to make the turn to Gangham instead.

Carefully driving past the fans lingering around the vicinity, I parked at our carpark.

I checked the surroundings to spot any Peeping Toms and walked ahead. She followed me carrying her empty cup.

The ride up the elevator was quiet though I got completely annoyed at her continuous focus on the cup. I mean, what is so interesting about stirring an empty cup when you have a man who is dying to please you stand beside you!

“Throw that cup away” I mumbled.

Yes, I’m jealous of the cup.

“Once I find a dustbin, I will”

She stepped away as I entered my passcode

“Just look. You need to know it too” I pulled her to me and typed it.

“That’s an obvious choice” She mumbled in disbelief

“Shut up and come inside” I opened the door for her. She stepped in and removed her sandals.

Ok, so Reya is at home alone with me. I’m supposed to do something right? Treat her? Look after her?

“Sit” I walked to the hall “Want something to drink?” She shook her head. “Still hungry?” She shook her head again “Wanna have a wash?” I leaned to her. She looked at me as if she was lost.

“But I have no change of clothes”

“Can you wear some of mine?”

“Aren’t I fatter than you?”

“Sweatpants can be worn Reya” I smiled at her though I hated her calling herself fat. She smiled, nodding at me

I eyed her tall physique disappear into my bathroom and I couldn’t help but do a silent victory dance. Her problem with EXO and apparently with Nathan might be an advantage to me.

Overhearing the shower work, I walked to my bed. I sat back waiting to see how she’d look in my clothes.

Since I promised her cousin that I'll call, I informed him that she was with me.

"Isn't it night?" He asked

"Yeah..." I rubbed the back of my neck "She wanted to not go home so..."

"She's at your place" He ended my sentence.

SILENCE

"So-"

"Are you in love with her?" He asked, shocking me completely

My stomach knotted and my hold on the phone loosened. I think their straightforwardness is a family trait. But darn! How will he respond to the truth?

"Please Jae, I won't snap back, I just want to know what you feel towards her" His tone softened

"I love Reya." I confessed.

"Good" Huh?! "Take care of her then."

"So, you are ok?"

He sighed a laugh "The moment you yelled at me over the phone when I called her mine, I had a feeling that you liked her"

I was controlling myself from yelling in joy that he has accepted me. I shouldn't loose my cool when he is still on the call.

"Take care of her."

"You needn't tell me that"

The call ended and I wasn't sure what I was thinking.

The door creaked and I immediately composed myself.

She came out, folding the sleeves to her elbows.

So this is how it feels like having your woman wear your clothes?

Maybe because they’re mine, I feel like I’m protecting her in a more intimate way. I liked it, the way my clothes fit her perfectly. She’s fatter than me? Nonsense! Maybe chubbier, but not unnecessarily fat. Ok, her thighs need to be slimmed. Besides that, she is perfect.

I couldn’t help but admire her wet hair perfectly falling down her chest. She looks amazing. I grabbed my hair dryer nevertheless. As she was about to take it from me, I pulled my arm away

“Let me dry you up”

She frowned. “I’m no baby and you need to have a wash too”

“After I dry your hair up”

Defeated, she sat by the dressing table. Burying my fingers in her thick hair, I carefully made sure that not a single drop of water was in her hair.

“Why don’t you colour your hair?” I couldn’t help but ask

“I’d love to but scared that it might not look nice, then again, since everyone colours, being in black is kinda unique”

“That’s true” I smiled.

Done with the drying, I knelt down to style her hair with my fingers.

“Whatcha looking at?”

“Even my parents never did this to me” She whispered. I stopped and locked eyes with her. It wasn’t the usual playful Reya in front of me. She looked grateful towards me.

“Don’t worry” I caressed her cheek, “I’ll look after you”

She stared into my eyes, seeing right through my soul. All I did was smile back at her and caress her cheek

“You want me to depend on you?” She sounded genuinely shocked

“I want you to never leave me”

“Stop talking nonsense” She mumbled

I placed the hair dryer on the dressing table. “This talk about you leaving has to stop.” I scooted close to her “I’ll talk to Kailaash if you are hesitant to”

“It’s not him… But my parents who happen to be drama queens.”

“But still, stop this madness ok? I am genuienly hurt after you telling me that."

“And I promise to take care of you” I smiled
