Reya POV

“Come again?”

“I like you Ray.”

“Like as in feelings? Couples? Relationships?”

He sighed a laugh “Yes” His smile never left his face.

Now I feel guiltier for snapping at Jaejoong. He was right all the way. I’m so apologising to him tonight.

“Ray, I know this is unexpected. But ever since I saw you at the mall I was attracted to you. That’s why I did all the crazy of serenading you and all.”

I gulped hard. Zhang Yixing is attracted to me?! God Bless Me!

“I mean, I’m not asking you to be my girlfriend right now. We don’t know each other well. But I don’t want to be seen just as a friend.”

“Is that so?” I let out a frightened laugh.

“Lay, I’ll come to the point.” He looked at me expectedly. No, he seemed scared. “I’m completely happy, ecstatic that you see me more as a friend but come on man, the chances for us to work are what? Below 1 percent.”

“I know Ray. That’s why I stayed away so long, but I keep on thinking of you. I know more than you about the industry. But I can’t seem to ignore you.” God in the heavens, why are you playing with my life?

“You know you should have written a love song about this and earned money than wasting money to meet me.”

He laughed “See? You’re attracting me more now” Oh crap! So much for chasing him away

Let it out Ray! Breathing deep I looked at him

“It took everything in me to not get romantically involved with Jaejoong. Now you come here and tell this to me. You realise that I’m already in a much messed up situation with Jaejoong?”

He sat back thinking hard. I tapped my fingers on the table waiting for some reaction from the lamb. Since he wasn’t and I was feeling extremely uncomfortable I spoke out

“Think hard Lay. This is a gamble you’re playing. It’ll be real painful if feelings are involved. I’m sure you know it considering you broke up with your girlfriend to become famous.”

I squeezed his hand and asked the waiter for the bill. Paying for my food I left him.

Nathan POV

Reya called me as I arrived to my room.

“Ray, why do you sound stressed? Is it because of Jaejoong?”

“Not him, but Zhang Yixing” My brows furrowed in confusion

“Nate, he- he, I” She breathed deep “He said that he likes me”

“I had a very bad feeling when he approached me to get to know you more. That innocent looking sly fox!”

She let out a laugh “Well useless talking about the past. I don’t know what to do Nate. He, he just came out of nowhere yesterday and asked me out. I thought it was a friendly date but now he dropped the bombshell.”

“What did you tell him Ray?”

“I told him to re-think his stupid feelings that I don’t want to get in any more messes.”

“Jaejoong? You got over him right?”

“I think so.”

“You think Yixing is serious?”

“I have no darn clue.”

“If he is, I think you should go ahead and give it a try.”<
