Reya POV

I contacted Nate to let him know what the inspector told us. Since he’s free in the evenings, we had to talk at around 6 am New York time. I told Jaejoong at night after he got fed up chasing me. That old man thinks that he can catch me? I’m a tennis player and a dancer. I’ve been trained to run fast. Poor guy ended up falling down flat on the floor.

The next morning Jaejoong came to my room. We sat on the bed together and waited for that idiot to come online.

“So how are you?”

“How do you think I am?”

“Seriously Ray, can’t you shut that witty mouth of yours even when a KPop idol is sitting beside you?”

“Who are you talking about? Pretty face next to me?” Yep, he smacked the back of my head.

“No worries Nate, I’m getting used to her.” He pinched me hard, really hard. I nudged his stomach in return

“Can you two please fight later? Soph will wake in an hour’s time.” Yeah right.

Jaejoong asked “So what are you thinking about it?”

“Well truthfully I don’t know. I have no way of coming any sooner coz I just began. So what are you thinking hyung?”

“I must get back for JYJ’s comeback.”

“What?! Really? Cool!” Crap! Fan girl mode activated.

This is the first time I lost my cool in front of Jaejoong. He was clearly shocked and then his reaction changed to a playful grin. Oh he’s gonna tease me for sure.

“Wipe that grin off your face Ajushi. We have important things to discuss.”

I focussed on the screen, making sure my hair covered my reaction. Nathan saw myself trying to control the smile forming in my face, and the idiot was giggling.

Nathan POV

Jaejoong was actually overjoyed that she nearly yelled in happiness of their comeback. Ray never showed how much of a fan she is. What shocked me is that he reached to her hair that was covering her face and tugged it behind her ear. Is he, nah, no way! He has a girlfriend. There’s no way Ray can shake his feelings that fast. No way. Plus she will make sure not to fall for him after I told it to her. Brushing my thoughts we continued to talk about Sophie. After around 30 minutes Jaejoong proposed

“You know I had this idea of taking her to Korea. I mean, my family can look after her well. My nieces are around her age and there are good international schools.”

I looked at Ray and raised by brows. She seemed to be ok with it.

“But that will happen only if Soph agrees.” She spoke, looking at the male next to her

“Is she opening up to you hyung?” I asked

He sighed, “No. Not yet.”

“Nah, she’ll come to him. I’ll make her” Ray smiled.

Personally, I loved that idea. I can’t let Ray bear the responsibility. She’s just 22 and is already acting like a mother to Soph. She deserves to have a normal life, go on dat
