Jaejoong POV

We were woken up by a cute little kid calling the girl next to me as Ray. She stirred, waking me up.

“Ray, wake up.” She looked very similar to Jae Hyun. Quite small for a five year old though.

I smiled at the sight where the kid climbed onto her and pinched her cheeks.

“What are you doing here Soph?” She pried her left hand from my hold. Was I holding on to her so long?

“Came to see omma and appa.” I tensed

She immediately looked at the man standing in front of us. “What the hell Nathan?!” Darn, she has a strong voice. He mouthed a sorry.

The kid, yes, Heyri, held her face, making the older girl look at her. “I know daddy and mommy are very hurt. Don’t yell at uncle.” So he’s Anne’s brother?

“When did you start acting like an adult?” 

The kid smiled and hugged her. I smiled at the sight.

“I saw mommy. She is still sleeping.” Reya’s gaze softened and she hugged her closer. “I came to see daddy. Come with me Ray.”

She gulped, later looking at Nathan and then me. Nathan spoke instead of her

“Soph, we’ll get you something to eat. Let Ray wake up. She looks like a zombie.” I controlled my laughter. She glared at him and then me. I focussed on the kid ignoring her gaze.

He carried the kid and took her away.

“You know you don’t look like a zombie, so don’t worry.”

“You’re better than I expected in English.” Not as good as you though….

“Well that’s because I’ve spoken English my whole life” She smiled at me

How did she? I was confused.

“Your body language showed it. Don’t worry, you’ll get better in English. And don’t think I’m some mind reader.” She’s not what I expected.

“They call you Ray?” I changed the topic.

“Yep. Short form for Reya.” Turning to me she asked “Want to see Anne?” I nodded and she guided me to her room.

Anne Lee is really a very beautiful lady. The last time I saw her was during their wedding. She was a very beautiful bride, really friendly with me. It really pained me to see her lying unconscious, her forehead, arms and legs bandaged. At that time, my phone rang. Excusing myself I went outside to answer it,

“Oppa, why did you leave without telling me?”

“Min Young-ah, I’m sorry. I was worried about Hyun and I forgot”

“It’s ok oppa, so how is he?”

Sighing “I don’t know. I really don’t know.”

“Come back soon oppa, we have a lot to catch up.”
