Jaejoong POV

We came home once everything was done. Finally sending off all the mourners I sat on the couch.

“I hate funerals!” Reya slumped down next to me.

“Who doesn’t” I commented.

“I know right.” She turned to me, “Too many casseroles. Can’t they give pie or fried rice or something else?” What did she just say in English now? I turned to her stunned by her comment.

“What?!” She snapped at me. “Something on my face?” She touched her face.

I flicked her forehead. “How can you talk about food now?”

Pouting, she rubbed her forehead “It’s not my fault. Come see the dinner table.” And she dragged me to the location. “See! Full of casseroles. Who on earth can eat all this?!” Korean and English together! Oh God!

Four hours ago she hugged me like it’s the end of the world, nearly breaking down. Nope, she didn’t cry, just a couple of tears only. Now she’s acting like this?! Is she a robot?

Going to the hall, we sat along with Nathan. Sophie came to Reya, who sat beside me.

Reya POV

I was hurt listening to what Nate told. I’m indebted to them my whole life. If it wasn’t for his parents, I would have never finished my studies. Sitting back I listened to what he had to say.

“It seems that Anne and Steve have written their last will some time ago.” My eyes widened.

Facing an outsider, whom I assume to be the lawyer, Nate introduced “This is Mr. Clarke, our family lawyer. He’ll read the will right now.”
