Jaejoong POV

I startled her. Yeah I did. I feel really bad. I didn’t like the flirty look of that woman. The only option of escaping for me was Reya. It showed in her eyes how startled she was. This is the first time I behaved like this with a girl. Not in any dream I thought I’ll publicly call a girl as my wife, especially not her. What was I thinking? Wife?! That’s what freaked her out. I should have simply call her my girlfriend, like what she did to me.

We arrived at home. Once we kept the bags on the kitchen table

“Reya-ah, I’m sorry.”

“For what?” She took the meat items and put them in the fridge.

She didn’t sound her playful, mischievous Reya.

“Ajushi.” I turned to the child

“Heyri-ah, can I talk to you later, I’m-”

She climbed on the chair closest to me, flicked my forehead hard and ran upstairs.

“Where did she learn that?”

“You’re friend’s technique to punish people.”

Of course, how did I forget? Hyun always does that whenever anyone does anything wrong. Like father, like daughter. Reya walked past me to the couch and the TV. I quietly sat beside her on the opposite end of the couch. I moved closer to her.

“Reya-ah”

“Hmmmmmmmmm” Her focus was on the television.

“What are you thinking now?”

“Strangling you to death for calling me your wife” I gulped. “Seriously? Wife?!” She turned to me “Are you an idiot? Firstly you hold me close, the kiss my forehead then call me your wife? What if we were videoed by one of your fans? Do you have any idea what’ll happen to me if my family gets to know that I’m living with a complete stranger looking after a child?!”

SILENCE

Guilt filled by heart. I kept staring at this girl who was looking at the television. She didn’t let her parents know about me? Will any mother let her daughter live with a man? What am I thinking?!

“Stop staring at me it’s creepy”

I threw my arm around her pulling her to me. “I’m sorry for startling you.”

Leaning on my chest she spoke “You better be. You have no idea what I felt when you spilled that crap out of your mouth.” She was about to pull away but I pushed her head back. “No more touching me in public ok? What if someone sees it?”
