I finished writing this chapter to only realise that it took 8 pages to complete.

Reya POV

“Jaejoong-ssi, I have this doubt that I wanted to ask you for a long long time”

We were in Heyri’s room sitting on the floor while she does her homework. He turned to me. Breathing deep to control the sudden nervousness I asked it

“Is YunJae real?”

I asked that 1 minute 5 seconds ago. The man is still wide-eyed and had most probably turned to stone. I can’t feel him breathing. Is he dead? Did I kill Kim Jaejoong? Swallowing my spit to control the rapid increase in my heart rate, I reached my hand to his shoulder. On contact he flinched and I immediately pulled my hand away.

“W-what did you just ask?”

Meet a completely flustered Jaejoong biting his lip in annoyance, glaring at me. But the moment he opened his mouth his voice cracked. I couldn’t control myself any longer. He looked so darn scary but it was hilarious. While laughing I hit my head hard on the bed. Wincing in pain I rubbed the back of my head.

“You idiot!” Jaejoong pulled my hand away and rubbed my head instead.

It took every bit of self-control in me to not breathe his scent. Must he have to wear a v-neck today? I can see the outline of his six packs. Unable to bear it any longer I shut my eyes. I opened them when I felt him rub the corner of my eyes.

“Yah, why are you tearing? Is it still hurting?”

His voice was literally the most soothing thing I ever heard. My heartbeat hit my ribcage fast. What is happening to me? I kept staring at his worried eyes. I clenched my hands and closed my eyes to calm this sudden rush I am feeling.

“Reya-ah” He caressed my cheek. Bad choice. Weird feeling became worse.

“A-answer me. Is YunJae real?” The caressing became pinching and I winced in pain.

“You brat. Here I was worried that you hit your head hard and you’re worried about that?”

“Answer meeeeeeeee” Yes, I wined like a kid.

It always works with Nate, Steve, Ajmaal. Whenever I act like a kid they end up doing what I want.

“Why? You want me to end up with Yunho?” This is new… He didn’t answer me as expected

“You wanna end up with Yunho?” I ignoring the flutter in my heart.

“I’m not gay”

“You can be biual”

“You will be dead in a couple of minutes”

“Heyri will hate you forever.”

“Yes. You hurt Ray, I will never talk to you” She sat beside me.

“I’m your appa!”

“She’s my omma!” I hugged her and kissed her, sticking my tongue at the fuming and later pouting Kim Jaejoong.

“If you don’t want to tell don’t. Sorry for hurting you” I stood up to go to the kitchen.

While pouring some juice for the three of us I felt him behind me. Composing myself to not flinch at whatever he does, he rested his chin on my left shoulder.

“Jaejoong-ssi, why-”

“I just get really protective of the people I’m close to.” He wrapped his arms around my waist.

Shoot! I gulped hard. My heart fluttered in happiness. I bit my lip completely resisting the urge to hug him close.
