Reya POV

The moment I set foot in CJes, everyone was eying me. I felt rather uneasy but didn’t want to make it obvious in front of Jaejoong. Fortunately, Junsu and Yoochun were there and I went to them once Jaejoong headed to meet his boss.

“Did you have fun?” Junsu asked. I nodded a yes.

“Show me the rings” Yoochun pulled my hand. “The bracelet is beautiful”

“I bought it for the both of us”

“A couple bracelet?!” Junsu verified “Whaah! Nice”

“Is he in trouble?” I asked eying the tinted glass door. “Am I causing him trouble?” I turned to Yoochun “Will I spoil his career?”

“Darling stop panicking” Yoochun held my hands “Hyung is madly in love with you and he just doesn’t know how to express it”

“So” Junsu caressed my head “Don’t worry. Everything is under control” He smiled at me once I faced him. My hands were still in Yoochun’s hold. “Just don’t think anything unnecessary ok? All of us are there”

“They won’t like me with him, will they?” I hesitantly asked. I'm scared that I might spoil his career since I know none of his fans like him attached to any woman, especially a regular non-Korean, girl like me. 

“Since when were you bothered about what the others think of you?”

I sighed a laugh and played with the phone.

“Oppadeul, I need to talk to my family”

“Yeah, yeah, you should” Junsu gestured me to call.

Breathing a deep breath, I stood up and walked to the corner. I pressed the call button and waited until Kailaash answered.

“Congrats. You are officially the most trending topic in Asia”

I couldn’t decipher whether he was genuinely happy or if he was about to explode

“So you saw our video I see….” I muttered.

“Didn’t miss a second of it. I have to admit, he is kind of romantic kissing you hand after putting the ring”

I couldn’t help but smile.

“So you are ok with us being a couple?”

“I knew you love him even though you were with that lamb. It’s good that you figured out whom you love before things go out of hand”

“I love you Kailaash”  

“I dare you to tell that in front of Mr. Romantic”

“What will I get in return?”

“Pssft. Boring” I rolled my eyes once he laughed, though I was truthfully relieved that he accepted Jaejoong. 

I breathed another deep breath and asked the nerve wrecking question

“Did my parents see it?”

“Uncle’s waiting beside me”

“Give him the phone”

The other end was silent and I knew dad was there.

“Pa, you there right?”

“This is one crazy way of introducing your boyfriend to your family Reya”

“We didn’t know that we were being videoed”  I immediately justified but kept my voice low and cautious. One wrong word, I piss  dad off and I won't get his blessings.

“I just want to know one thing……”

“Yes pa”

“You sure that he wouldn’t leave you like all these celebrities change partners like changing clothes right?”

“I’ll bet my life on him.” I breathed out. “He loves me more than I love him”

He remained quiet and my stomach churned in nervousness.

“I have always trusted your choices and I hope you are right this time also. But keep this in mind” I swallowed my spit listening to his stern voice. “You better not come back to us crying in case he leaves you because we won’t be in a position to help you out”

The call ended. I put my phone back into my pocket and sat beside Yoochun.

“Everything's alright?” He bumped shoulders with me.

I sighed. He held onto my shoulder and I leaned on his. “I think disappointed them again oppa.”

“Well” He breathed out “They must be worried since hyung is famous, right?” I nodded a yes “Any parent would”

“It’s just” I sighed “The way appa sounded is making me feel uneasy”

Yoochun’s grip on my tightened and I eyed him look intensively at me

“You trust Jaejoong hyung, don't you?” He asked staring deep into my soul.

“More than I trust myself” I replied.

“Then don’t worry because hyung will never let you go”

Jaejoong stepped in and the three of us stood up. His manager walked to me and informed that in an hour’s time a statement would be released.

I’m now at my college’s slumber party. Yes, I’m back to studying. Jaejoong didn’t want me to work so I asked him if I could do my masters to which he immediately accepted. I’m now studying in Seoul National University.

At times, he gets overly romantic and acts like the heroes in those cheesy chick flicks, but I shrug it off. But most of the time he is the usual annoying, teasing yet caring ajushi I know, so life is awesome. I usually spend the evenings at his place. No, I’ve not moved in with him. “Drink on Reya!”

“Urgh! It’s too much!” I groaned. “I didn’t sign up for this!”

Sighing in defeat, I gulped down the alcohol in one go. All cheered and I nearly lost my balance.
