[Daesung’s POV]

It was a beautiful morning the next day after all of this happened.

I woke up and found my-self in the hospital room.

I turned my head to the side and I was alone, I had a breathing mask on.

There were a lot of wires attached to me and the machine kept making beeping noises.

I sat up and looked out the window that was opened.

The sun was shining and the wind was blowing ever so calmly.

I looked up at the ceiling and then at the door of the room I was in.

I closed my eyes and tried to remember everything that has happened.

My mind felt blank and I couldn’t seem to remember.

Then the door opened up.

“Daesung?” A soft voice came from a person walking into the room.

I turned to look at the person, I didn’t smile.

“Do you know who I am?” The man asked.

“Detective Seungri” I softly responded.

“Good. You still have your memory.” He said walking over to me and pulled out his handcuffs.

I looked at them.

“What are you doing?” I asked.

“I am handcuffing you to your bed so you wouldn’t get away” He said as he opened the handcuffs and then grabbed my wrist.

“Why…” I muttered looking at him.

“Because Daesung even though you were almost killed from last night’s standoff, we feel sympathy for you, but that doesn’t mean you are off the hook from the shootout in my office or the kidnapping of Su-Min.” He explained.

“Su-Min…Where is she?” I asked.

“She’s with Jiyong and the others.” He answered as he finished handcuffing my wrist to my bed.

“Is she okay?” I asked.

“She is fine” He said smiling. “I’ll be back later” He added and walked out of the door.

I watched him and when he closed the door I looked at my handcuffs.

[Jiyong’s POV]

“NO! SEUNGHYUN! Don’t die! You have to stay alive for your sister!” My voice echoed in my mind from last night.

When his hand let go of my back and fell to the floor, I knew he was gone.

I squeezed him tighter with one last night and placed him down.

I could hear the sirens in the background; I stood up and backed up to the door. Taking one last look at Seunghyun before turning to leave the room, I ran down the steps and through the hallway before reaching the exit of the place. I opened the door and the cops surrounded the place. They got their guns out and pointed it at me.

I had blood all over me and I held up my hands.

“He’s inside!” I yelled. “Seunghyun’s dead” I added.

They lowered their guns a bit and the chief spoke into his walkie and motioned for his men to go inside.

I followed them back in and showed them to the room where he was at.

“He’s in here” I said walking into the room but then I stopped.

“What?”

I sat up in my bed and looked to the side of me.

Su-Min was sleeping on the bed. She was smiling in her sleep and that made me smile.

I placed a hand on her head and then got out of bed.

I walked down the steps and into the living room.

Everything seemed so peaceful now…

I walked over to the large window in the living room and looked out.

The wind was blowing and the tree’s leaves moved with it.

The sun shined inside my house and made it twinkle.

I backed up and smiled.

I turned to walk back up stairs.

[Seungri’s POV]

After last night everyone was exhausted.

That whole area is closed off and it probably will be for a while.

They are still trying to clean up all the dead bodies and separating the police guys from the mafia ones.

Once I left Daesung’s room I walked over to CL’s room.

She was still unconscious from last night, I walked back out and over to the doctor.

“When will Kang, Daesung be released?” I asked.

The doctor looked at his clipboard.

“Hmmm probably next week, maybe even in a couple days if he does well. I have to go check up on his vitals to see if he is doing any good.” The doctor explained as he walked over to Daesung’s room and I followed.

When he opened his door and walked in, he stopped and looked puzzled.

“What’s the matter?” I asked.

“I do have the right room right?” He asked himself looking at the clipboard.

I walked past the doctor and over to the bed, He was gone.

He managed to get out of the handcuffs and escape.

I ran over to the window and looked out. Nothing.

[CL’s POV]

I opened my eyes to something in my room.

I looked over and saw Daesung staring at me.

“Daesung?” I said softly.

“CL we have to get out of here” He whispered.

“Why?” I asked.

“They ain’t going to let us go free after we get better” He explained.

“True” I said and sat up. I managed to get my handcuffs off and leaped out of the window with Daesung.

[Taeyang’s POV]

I sat at the bar and watched Mimi clean the drink glasses.

“So are you happy that Jiyong finally got Su-Min back?” I asked as I took another sip of my drink.

She sighed and continued to clean the glasses.

She looked up at me.

“I’m happy, but then again I am not.” She softly said as she placed the last of the clean glasses away.

“Why not?” I asked drinking some more.

“Well I’m happy that Su-Min is alive and well but I just wish her and Jiyong saw differences and never got back together.” She explained.

“Ohhh…You like Jiyong?” I asked her.

She nodded and poured me some more to drink.

“Yeah…” She sighed.

“Mm” I was going to say something else but then my phone rang.

“Yobosayo?” I answered.

“Taeyang its detective Seungri” He said quickly into the phone.

“Oh hey what’s up?” I asked.

“Daesung and CL got away” He hurriedly said into the phone.

“What? Are you serious?” I said standing up, Mimi looked at me.

“I’ll be right there” I said into the phone and hung up.

“What happened?” She asked me.

“CL and Daesung escaped the hospital” I explained to her.

“Just let them go” Mimi said looking at me.

“Why?” I asked her.

“They’ve been through enough already” She softly said.

“I’m sure Daesung is eager to get back to Haewon.” She added.

“I bet he couldn’t wait to marry her” She said smiling.

I just looked at her and almost smiled but stopped my-self.

“You’re probably right” I said to her and then left.

“Young-Bae” She softly said to me as I left the bar.

[Daesung’s POV]

CL and I both ran down the road and entered the area where the standoff happened last night. I held her hand not letting her go. There were still some bodies lying around, but not many.

Then we heard a bullet whiz past us and we instantly stopped running. We both turned around and faced Seungri pointing the gun at us.

“Stop where you are!” He yelled.

We just looked at him.

“Come back here and we can make a deal.” Seungri yelled.

I just shook my head.

“No” I muttered.

Seungri shot another bullet and purposely missed.

“Daesung!” He yelled.

“Just leave us alone!” CL yelled. “You guys have Su-Min back!” She added. “Just leave us alone!”

“I won’t say it again!” Seungri yelled.

CL and Daesung ignored him and turned around.

“Don’t run Daesung! Think about what you are doing!” Seungri yelled at us.

He started walking and then it turned into a run.

Seungri started to shoot at us but missed because Taeyang pushed his arm out of the way.

“What are you doing!” Seungri yelled looking at Taeyang.

“Just let them go.” He softly said to Seungri. “They’ve been through enough, we all have.” He added.

Seungri looked at Taeyang and then aimed his gun at us again.

We slowly stopped running and turned around. We started to walk backward slowly, watching Seungri.

He finally lowered his gun and looked at Taeyang.

“I guess you’re right” he muttered and walked away.

Taeyang nodded at us and I smiled. He turned back around and continued to run.

[GD’s POV]

“What happened to his body?” I asked my-self. “There was nobody else in that building but Seunghyun and I” I continued on.

“Maybe…There was somebody hiding out in the shadows waiting till it was over.” I sighed and sat down in a chair in my office.

I placed my head on my desk and closed my eyes.

I’m just glad this was all over though…I feel for Seunghyun’s pain.

[Daesung’s POV]

We finally made it back to the mansion.

I looked at CL and she looked at me.

I placed my hand on the door knob and opened the door.

We both walked in, nothing was heard. There were no sounds…Nothing.

“Hello?” I called out.

“Soojin! Haewon!” I yelled.

“Hello!” CL called out.

[Soojin’s POV]

I sat on Haewon’s bed playing with her hair trying to comfort her.

“Haewon it’s going to be okay” I said softly.

“No it’s not! Daesung is dead, CL is dead! They are all dead! They are not coming back!” She yelled.

I sighed and closed my eyes.

“Haewon…I’m sure they are fine” I whispered.

“They why didn’t they come back last night!” She yelled crying.

“I don’t know.” I softly said looking away.

Then I heard the front door open and close.

I looked towards Haewon’s door.

Then I heard someone yell hello.

“I’ll be right back” I said standing up and walking out of her room, I walked down the stairs and over to the front door.

“Hello?” I called out. I saw two people, their backs facing me.

One of them turned around.

“Daesung?” I softly said and ran over to him, CL turned around and they both ran over.

“Soojin!” CL yelled.

“Are you guys okay!” I yelled.

“We’re fine” Daesung chimed in. “Ah. Where’s Haewon?” he asked.

“In her room” I said smiling. He smiled and ran up the stairs.

“Where’s Hyung-Jun?” I asked.

CL looked away from me.

“Hyung-Jun is dead…”

“And Seunghyun? Where is he?” I asked.

“Soojin…” She softly said taking a step to me.

[Daesung’s POV]

I ran up to Haewon’s room and opened the door.

“Leave me alone Soojin…please” She sobbed.

I smiled at her as I closed the door.

I sat down on the bed and her hair.

“I said leave me alone…I just want to be left alone!” She started to yell.

I didn’t stop and kept at it.

“What do you want from me SooJin! Huh!” She continued.

“Please leave me alone!” She yelled once more.

I smiled.

“But if I left you alone…then we couldn’t be together…” I softly said to her.

She stopped crying a little bit and sat up. She turned to face me.

“D-daesung?” She let out.

I smiled.

I got off the bed and so did she.

She ran around and gave me a hug and started to cry again.

“Daesung!” She yelled. “I thought you were dead!”

“I did too…but…somehow I am still alive…” I whispered in her ear.

She pulled away from the hug and looked at me.

“Where’s my brother?” She asked.

I looked away.

“Haewon…” I softly said.

“Is he here!” She said smiling running to the door. I just stood there and when she opened the door and ran out I turned around.

I reached the opened door and took a step out.

“NO!” Soojin yelled from the first floor.

I looked at the ground and then at Haewon who stopped at the top of the stairs.

“Where’s my brother?” She asked the two as she started walking down.

I followed her.

Soojin turned to her and ran over to her and pulled her into a hug.

“He’s gone Haewon!” She cried.

“What?” She said to freak out. “What do you mean he’s gone? Did he leave for a while?” She said frantically.

“Seunghyun…your brother, is dead…” I said walking to the two.

“No...Seunghyun…He can’t be dead.” She said backing away from us. “Not my brother!” She yelled.

“I’m sorry.” I softly said as I walked over to her. I reached out to touch her arm but she pulled back.

“Don’t touch me!” She yelled. “I want my brother!”

The tears started to fall from my eyes.

I looked away; CL couldn’t take it anymore and walked away to another room and Soojin followed her.

It was just me and Haewon.

I turned to face her; she was backed against the wall crying.

“I want my brother!” She continued to yell. “I want him!”

I walked over to her and pulled her into hug, she struggled but then she stopped. She continued to cry and cry.

“I want him back too…” I whispered into her ear.
