Chapter Twenty-Nine
Day 3: Where’s my money/The last day.

[GD‘S POV]

I woke and it was the morning. I sat up in my bed and looked around, Su-Min wasn’t there. I started to freak out.
“Su-Min! Where are you!” I yelled. I didn’t get a response.
I quickly got out of bed and started to run all over the house.
“Su-Min! Where are you! Answer me!” I continued to run and yell.
I still didn’t get a response from her. When I got tired I stopped to take a break and sat at the dining room table, I rested my head on the table and looked up and saw a note. I stood up and walked over.
I picked it up and read what it said.

“Jiyong,
If you are reading this, don’t freak out. I didn’t want to wake you up before I left this morning to go to my friends house for a little bit.
I do realize it is the last day to get Seung-Hyun the money but don’t worry I am sure you will get him the money in time. I will be home in a few hours,
And don’t worry I am safe.
I love you and always will love you.

I sighed with relief and placed the note back down.
I woke over to my phone and wanted to call Mimi and apologize for going bezerk on her but the phone already started to ring.
I was confused and picked the phone up.
“Yobosayo?” I said into the phone.

“Today is the day Jiyong. I want my money by 3:00 Pm.” Seung-Hyun said over the phone.

I just stood there.
“Seung-Hyun I need just a few more hours than that.” I said trying not to sound too begging.

“no. Just meet me at the dirt road just outside of town. it’s a hour and a half drive…so you better leave early. If you are late…” he paused. “Well lets just say…don’t be late.” He finished and hung up.

I put the phone down and looked at the clock.
It was already 11:30. I didn’t have that much time.
I needed to get the last of the money before 1:00 so I can make it to Seung-Hyun’s spot in time.

But who can I ask for the last $100. I sat up against the wall. I felt like crying but I couldn’t. I had to be strong, there was only one person that I can call.

‘Phone starts to ring’

“Yobosayo” said the person on the other line.

“Mom.”
