You paced around your apartment. Sanghyun was coming home from tour tonight. He wasn’t sure exactly what time he would be in, but you couldn’t wait for him to get home. He had been gone for months, and only back in Korea for very short stays. The idea of having him around every day made your heart jump.

All day you had tried to find things to do to stay busy, hoping to pass the time faster. But now that it was getting later, you had gotten more impatient. You continued placing around when you heard the door open. You quickly ran into the hallway in time to see Sanghyun pushing it closed while slipping his shoes off. He looked up at you and for a second, neither of you moved. You just stood there staring at each other.

You ran at him. His arms wasted no time wrapping around you, lifting you up to hold you tight against his body. After spending a few moments in the hug, he pulled back to kiss you. You smiled at him and noticed the tears forming in his eyes.

“You don’t know how much I missed you.” You moved one hand up to wipe his tears away as they slid down his cheek.

“I do, but let’s not dwell on that. We should enjoy the time we have together.” Sanghyun nodded and let you go. You took his hand and led him to your bedroom. While changing into your pajamas, you couldn’t help smiling at the thought of sleeping in the same bed again.

You both laid down, and moved to cuddle close together under the covers. His arms moved around you, pressing you close against him. For the first time in months, the two of you fell asleep in the arms of the person you loved most.
