I have never been happy. All my life, I was broken, sad, alone. I was weak, afraid, inferior. But then, I became who I am. The day my heart stopped beating, was the day I had a new life, a fresh start. 

It was the day I became a vampire. 

It was the day, I replaced one of the originals. 

In this world, five originals exist. They are the authorities among the authorities. They are most powerful - the most feared among vampires. They have no death, nor life. They are immortal.

Original's are invicible. They are inhumanely strong, a hundred times stronger than your ordinary vampires and the sun has no power against them.  But there's one thing an original has no control of- his own life.

An original cannot die. An ordinary vampire may end it's life by staking it's heart, or by burning itself in the sun. But an original cannot. The world needs five to maintain balance, and forever shall it be five. 

The only way an original, can end his fate, is by creating a new original.

A new born, created from death. 

A beginning created from an end.



"Are you afaid of me?" 
"No." I answered. 

"I am right. You are the one."

These are the last words I heard before I was turned. 

Before I turned into an original. 
Before I became who I am.
