Taeyeon sniffed the air. A moan escaped her lips as the fragrance of blood filled her nostrils.

"Hmm... Nice!" She smiled, revealing her fangs.

A chuckle disturbed her reverie. An all too familiar chuckle.

"You seem to be enjoying yourself, sister." The intruder mused.

Taeyeon turned to meet sinister eyes staring at her in amusement. A snort escaped her lips.

"I found something delicious." Taeyeon voiced as she eyed her sister sauntering towards her.

Her sister smiled her usual scheming smirk. And they both turned to watch the potential victim stroll down the dimly-lit street.

"Go grab her, sis."

And with that encouragement, Taeyeon leapt gracefully onto the pavement below the seven-storey building.

Kwon Yuri whistled a fine tune as she rounded the corner of the block. It was late, almost midnight and her neighborhood looked like a ghost town at this hour. But she was not deterred by the silence. She had been used to the routine of heading home at this ungodly hour.

She heard footsteps tailing her and for once, she felt strange. She had been used to walking about with not a single soul in sight that the mere knowledge of someone else still awake made her wonder.

Yuri turned in hopes of meeting a fellow who had possibly worked the graveyard shift just like her, but she found nobody behind her

Strange, indeed.

Pushing negativity to the back of her mind, Yuri continued towards her destination. A few moments had passed when Yuri once again noticed the eerie footsteps following her.

Once more, she turned to address the supposed person behind her, only to have shivers run through her body after discovering that she was alone.

Turning ahead, she hastened her strides, fear now pumping into her bloodstream. Her quick steps morphed into a sprint as the phantom footsteps quickened as well.

Yuri's fear heightened upon feeling cold breaths running through her nape as if her unknown pursuer had been breathing down her neck. A shriek pushed its way through as she ran from whatever it was that was chasing her.

She stumbled into the apartment complex, her strength depleted as she hastily closed the glass doors. Her pallid face noted the darkness of the lobby, her eyes dilated from the ordeal as they warily surveyed the seemingly calm scene outside the building.

A relieved sigh escaped her lips as she turned away from the door, ambling slowly towards the elevator which led to her flat.

Taeyeon had seated herself atop the edifice which her victim had just entered. Her feet dangled on the ten story ledge as she mulled over the dirty prank she had just played on the fear-stricken mortal.

An amused chuckle took her attention from her thoughts.

"You're clearly enjoying this, Taeyeon."

Taeyeon's placid expression burst into a Cheshire grin, her fangs unveiled along with her distinct chin dimple.

"You only live once, they say."

The two stared at each other for a moment before they both burst into laughter.

"But we're immortals..." Came her sister's remark.

Soon, exhaustion pushed her to sleep; the previous ordeal, momentarily forgotten.
