____: Donghae! We’re going to be late!!!!

Donghae: I’m coming, I’m coming, I’m coming!

_____: Hurry Up! They’re probably there waiting for us already!

I saw him running down the stairs whilst trying to put his socks on.

Donghae: got everything?

_____: yep.

Donghae: let’s go then.

I opened the door and we both left the house. Donghae opened the door to the car for me and I got in.

____: you look lovely today, oppa.

Donghae: don’t I always?

He flashed me a grin and started driving.

I rolled my eyes and laughed at him. Oh Donghae! What am I going to do without you!

Once we found a place to park, we hurriedly walked to the café and saw Eunhyuk waving his hand at us to tell us where they were. Kyuhyun and Hyuna were already there.

Eunhyuk: Long time no see, dongsaeng!

_______: Long time no see oppa!

Donghae: Hey guys!

We all exchanged our greetings before finally settling into our seats.

Kyuhyun: so how’s Soohae?

______: you haven’t seen us in so long and the first thing you ask about is where Soohae is? It’s okay oppa, I know how much I mean to you know.

I crossed my arms childishly and leaned against Donghae.

Kyuhyun: well, she is precious! And, every time I ask about you, you say the same thing anyway!

_______:whatever oppa. So how are you going Hyuna-ssi, anything new?

Hyuna: no, nothing that new.

She placed emphasis on ‘that.’

_____: that new? Your hiding something aren’t you.

Kyuhyun started to smirk whilst Hyuna tried to hide her smile.

____: why are you smirking? Ya, there’s something going on between you two right?

Kyuhyun: like what?

Kyuhyun asked me with his poker face.

____: like you two are dating?

Donghae + Eunhyuk: What?! Ya, maknae, why didn’t you tell us??!

Hyuna: we’re not dating.

We all looked at Hyuna.

Kyuhyun: we’re just in the process of understanding each other better.

I smacked Kyuhyun on the head.

Kyuhyun: What was that for?!

He said whilst rubbing his head.

_____: that’s something only S.M will say!

Donghae: True that!

Donghae agreed with me.

_______:don’t even dare play around with Hyuna!

I stuck my tongue out at him.

Kyuhyun: I won’t do what I did in the past, don’t you worry.

______: Is there a second meaning?

Kyuhyun: no, I’m being sincere, I wasted too much time. I just want to find someone I can love and settle down with soon.

He said whilst looking at Hyuna.

Hyuna blushed.

Donghae: love is in the air ~~

I turned my head and looking at Donghae smiling.

He kissed me on the head.

Suddenly Eunhyuk started to sigh.

_____: what’s wrong oppa?

Eunhyuk: if only I had a girlfriend…..

_____: oppa, if you get a girlfriend, she has to pass all my tests before she can be with you.

Eunhyuk: Ya, I didn’t even do that, when you and Donghae got together.

He drank his milkshake.

Donghae: hey!

______: well, that’s different.

Eunhyuk: how’s that different!!?

____:….. It just is!!

I stuck my tongues out at him like what I did with Kyuhyun before.

Eunhyuk: well now I know how much you love me.

_______: yeah and I love you heaps that I don’t want anyone hurting my favourite oppa.

Eunhyuk: ok ok, I get it… geez so bossy.

He went back to drinking his Milkshake.

_____: I pouted at him.

Just then Donghae’s phone started to ring.

Donghae: yeobosaeyo?

Donghae: WHAT?! I’ll come pick her up now. Yes, Thank you.

Donghae: we have to go now.

Donghae said to me.

_______: what’s wrong?

Donghae: Soohae, got into a fight a school, we have to go pick her up now.

______: a fight?!

Donghae: don’t know much, Miss Lee, didn’t say anything else.

Eunhyuk: hey, walk and talk, don’t just sit there. You have a daughter to pick up!

________: we’ll talk to you guys another time. Bye guys.

________:Let’s go.

I said to Donghae.

He nodded and we walked off to our car.

_______: that’s weird….Soohae would never get into a fight. She’s not even the type to fight.

Donghae: let’s just hope no-one was hurt physically.

I nodded.

When we arrived in front of the kindergarten, Miss Lee came out to greet us with Soohae looking down and upset.

______: Hi, Miss Lee, I am so sorry for the inconvenience. What happened?

Miss Lee: no it’s okay; it’s a common thing amongst children. It was actually lunch time and Soohae and a boy in the class got into a fight. No-one was hurt physically but it seemed like Soohae had experienced the down side. We are so sorry that this has happened.

Donghae: No, we’re sorry for the inconvenience. Seeing as we are already here, we will take Soohae home now if you don’t mind.

Miss Lee: Yeah sure, no problem. Have a good day Mr and Mrs Lee Donghae.

Donghae smiled at her and she left.

I crouched down to where Soohae was sitting, lifted her face, and wiped the tears that remained on her face.

_____: What happened?

Donghae crouched down next to me.

She didn’t reply me.

_____: baby, tell omma what happened.

Soohae: Hwang Junghwa teased me and said that Appa abandoned me.

I smiled gently at fixed pieces of her hair.

_____: Appa’s here now. He never abandoned you.

Donghae: Soohae-ah, Appa never abandoned you. Appa was just busy and did not have time to spend with you when you were younger.  But like what omma said, Appa is here now and he won’t go anywhere. Okay? But no matter, you shouldn’t have fought with your classmates.

Soohae nodded with a pout still on her face.

Donghae smiled and kissed her on the head, then turned to me and did the same, rubbing my back, comforting me.

I looked at him and smiled.

Donghae: Okay! Seeing as its still early afternoon, let’s just go out and have fun for the rest of the day okay? Mmhm…let’s go out to the shopping mall nearby play around and shop then buy things from the supermarket and I’ll cook tonight okay?

Soohae: YES!!

I smiled at Soohae, seeing that she was already cheered up.

_____: you’re going to cook?

Donghae: why? Don’t trust me?

_____: I don’t remember eating anything you cooked before.

Donghae: well, then you’ll have the honour to try it tonight.

He smiled at me.

I chuckled at him whilst he went to buckle Soohae up in her car seat.

 

After walking around in the mall for some time, we went to the nearby supermarket and started to buy the things we needed for dinner.

Donghae: western or Korean?

Donghae asked us while pushing the trolley that Soohae was sitting in.

Soohae: western!

Donghae: babe?!

He looked at me.

______: If Soohae says western, then we shall have western.

I replied Donghae whilst gently pinching Soohae’s cheeks.

Donghae: well then I say steak it is then.

Soohae:  With mashed potatoes!

______: With mashed potatoes.

I agreed with what Soohae had said.

Donghae: yes, with mashed potato!

 We were walking around the cold section of the supermarket when one of Donghae’s fans came up to us.

E.L.F: omo! Oppa, is that your wife and your daughter?! Unnie, you’re so pretty and your daughter is sooo cute!!

Donghae smiled at her and I did the same.

E.L.F: can I take a picture with you guys?!

Donghae looked at me and I smiled at him.

Donghae: sure.

And the E.L.F took a selfie with us.

E.L.F: Thank you so much!!! I’m so lucky to see you guys!!  Oppa, Unnie, is it okay if I post this online?! I’m so so happy that I just want to tell the other E.L.F’s what you guys are like!

Donghae: it’s fine with me.

The E.L.F looked at me.

______: go for it.

I smiled at her.

E.L.F: yay! Oppa, Unnie, I have to go now. It was nice seeing you guys. Bye!

And she left, leaving Donghae grinning like a fool.

____: Mr Lee Donghae.

I turned around to face Donghae.

Donghae: yes, Mrs Lee Donghae?

_____: are you going to keep grinning like that?

Donghae: am I not allowed to?

_____: of course you're allowed to.

I said whilst turning around and started to push the trolley.

_____: but you’ll have to walk by yourself!

I turned around to stick my tongue out at Donghae before pushing the trolley again.

Donghae ya! Where are you going?

_____: to get potatoes!

Donghae: wait up!

 

 

After buying the food that we needed, we headed home. Donghae started to make dinner whilst I went to give Soohae a bath.

Soohae: omma, do you think the food will taste good?

_____: why baby? Are you scared that appa will ruin the food?

She nodded.

_____: well then we’ll just have to see later then, won’t we?

She nodded again.

Soohae: we will secretly tell each other whether it is good or not!

I smiled at her.

______: okay.

 I quickly finished bathing her and took a shower myself, just in time for dinner.

On Donghaes’ and my plate, there was a piece of steak, some vegetables and some mashed potato with Gravy on top. For Soohae, it was the same, except that the steak was already cut into smaller pieces perfect for her.

Soohae: looks good so far.

Soohae whispered to me.

I nodded to her whilst grinning.

Donghae: lets eat!

And we took our first bite of Donghae’s cooking.

Soohae: it’s good!

______: you didn’t fail us.

Donghae: can be on MasterChef.

______: not to that extent oppa.

He stuck his tongue out at me.

Donghae: Soohae-ah did you know that it’s omma’s birthday soon?

Soohae: really omma?

She looked at me.

_____: yes Soohae.

Soohae: omma, what do you want for your birthday? I’ll buy it for you.

_____: do you even have money to buy omma a present? Soohae, all I want is for you and Appa to always be by my side. Nothing else.

Soohae: Omma, I promise to always be by your side! Appa too, right?

She looked at Donghae.

Donghae answered her.

Donghae: Yes love. I’ll always be by omma’s side….. and Soohae’s too.

I smiled genuinely at him.

 

And that's when the doorbell rang.

Hi guys! I am so happy that i have finally gotten this chapter up! I am so sorry about updating so late, but we have been soooo busy lately. I really hope this long chapter will somehow make it up to you guys! I hope you guys have enjoyed this chapter! We will hopefully update soon.!!  Sorry if this chapter was kind of random. But i really wanted the family to have some quality family time!!
