Misun had seen a lot of beautiful things in her life; then again maybe that was the optimist in her. Maybe her view on the world made everything beautiful in her eyes. Maybe it was also the Faye in her; making the world seem a little brighter than it really was. Maybe she was the thing that made it so bright.
Faye country was different though; instead of one person shedding their light unto it, it had its own inner glow that shined out onto others. At least that’s what the blonde Faye girl believed. It wasn’t her first time seeing the fields of bright and sweet scented flowers, yet having the chance to gaze at them freely made it all the better.
Misun smiled to herself as she slowly made her way through the rows and rows of tall sunflowers. She let her hand graze their itchy stems as the petals brushed her face. Most, if not all were her height or taller. She could not even see the others as she walked; although she could surely hear them. Not so much their movements, as they were to graceful to be detected, but their raucous laughter and insistent chattering that floated up above the yellow plants.
A small breeze caused the tall stems to wave slightly; their fresh scent hitting the girl in the face. She closed her eyes and let the breeze to envelope her; it brought her back to earlier in the morning when she ate the sunflower bread. It wasn’t much of a surprise though; Zelo had said the bread was made from the very flowers she now strode between.
High above her, even farther than the pretty vegetation could reach, the sun shone brightly. It was at its highest point in the day; the time having flown by fast, becoming noon sooner than Misun would have hoped. She wanted the day to last as long as possible. She wanted her freedom from the stuffy, if not intriguing, palace lif
