“Finally,” Kyungsoo exclaimed as Kai rounded the corner. “Yeah yeah. Let’s just eat,” the tan boy smiled widely. It was odd for him. He hadn’t smiled like that in that past six days; none of the wolves had.

The others blinked at each other confused; only Tao smiled back after receiving a small nod from Kai. Sehun on the other hand sat uncaring at the dining room table. The only thing interesting to him seemed to be his thumbs which he twiddled together on his lap. Not even the many dishes Kyungsoo and Lay had prepared for everyone attracted his attention. He hadn’t had an appetite in recent days. He mainly ate so as not to worry his hyungs. He didn’t need the trouble of their nagging.

Everyone took their seats and began attacking the food, Sehun included, although he moved slower. He lazily grabbed some steamed pork, a bun, a few seasoned fresh water shrimp, and kimichi. All simple foods that weren’t too heavy, but still enough to fill his stomach without having to eat a lot.

He chewed sluggishly, only slightly paying attention to the conversation at the table. The wolves talked about various things such as the ever cooling weather; the special training sessions they’d been doing, and even some tiff Xiumin and Baekhyun had gotten into last night. Sehun heard something about a missing pair of boxers.

The conversations were safe; far from humans; far from anything non-werewolf; and far from Misun. It was how it had been since she left. No one mentioned her; no one gained that lost look they had once she disappeared into the waterfall. Yet, no one seemed as happy as they were before. Was it before she left? Or before she entered their lives to begin with? None of them could discern when the dynamics of the group had changed so much. Since when did they depend on some girl they hardly knew?

Sehun sighed softly through his bite of bread. Even if they never said it; Misun’s existence always floated around them. Her name always on the tip of their tongues. He could admit this if he weren’t so afraid it would cause an unneeded fight. Even though he was the youngest, he didn’t want to act like it. He was used to acting above their childishness. He was the cool faced maknae that didn’t take any lip, only gave it. Except with Misun that is. With her he was able to act like the teen he resembled. W
